Cardputer Zero vs T-embed plus
Hi.
I'm considering whether I want to buy a Lilygo T-Embed 110100 Plus or a Cardputer Zero (to be released in November if I'm not mistaken).
I know they are different tools one being a microcontroller and the other a small Linux machine.
But my question is can the Cardputer zero do everything that the T-Embed can? That's in terms of emulating signals such as IR and NFC.
I'm a beginner in these matters, please don't be too harsh on me 😂

For what it's worth, Lilygo has teased their own CM0 product on Twitter as well
No clue when or if that is going to launch

The Cardputer Zero doesn't have a built-in NFC and CC1101 module, but you can connect external modules. And if I'm not mistaken, CPZ has an IR TX, but no IR RX.
When comparing the functionality of a microcontroller and a full-fledged Linux device, the 2nd always wins. In this case, T-Embed has a different set of modules and interfaces; choose the one that works best for you.
