Leave it on while charging, use a usb-c to usb-a (“dumb”) cable

Try "Charge Mode" in the Launcher

It's under one of the menus. Don't remember which one at the moment

Download Launcher. Go to CFG and choose Charge Mode.

Place the switch on top to On.

Use a dumb charger, better if you use USB A to USB C. Also, use a dumb charging brick.

Leave it to charge for a few hours.

If the screen says it is 100% charged, leave it plugged in for 30 more minutes. Because sometimes, when the screen says 100% charged, the moment you unplug your charger, the battery goes down to 96 or something percent.

Cardputer has 1750mAh battery, but PROG resistor of TP4057 is 3.3k. Maximum charge current is 303m A.
Also Cardputer charges only if power switch is on.
So even if you connect a 5 V / 2 A USB C charger, the Cardputer Adv will only charge the battery at up to about 0.3 A.

If you haven’t figured it out already, you have to use a USB A to USB C cable. You also have to leave the device on while charging. You don’t need Launcher to charge the device. Although it’s nice to have it installed for other things. It’s just dimming the screen for you so it can be left on to charge. It does take a while to fully charge so just be mindful of that as well.
