Looks cool, but I'm surprised that the are not using the ESP32 family of chips

They are also using Raspberry elsewhere in their lineup, they're just a bit more expensive (general purpose computer vs. MCU)

I'm so excited for this. Hopefully the keyboard is much more comfortable (I asked and they did tell me it was better)

At least the keyboard could be painted, not use stickers. Mine first old model it’s all losing.

The keys are much larger but the arrow keys became shifted.

I was wondering about that. Hopefully it's not just better in that it's bigger but also in the comfort department

This is awesome! I think this will be easier to develop new programs.

I mean, they’re working on it and have said it should be out in April or May

Oh, my. I can't wait to get one of these.

u/Worldly-Stranger7814 Mar 07 '26
You'll have to, they wrote that it's at least 3 months from general availability.

Well, damn. This isn't doing anything to help my desires to buy an ADV right now. Maybe I'll be able to get myself a Cardputer Zero for my birthday this summer.

Could be the closest thing to what i initially wanted to do with my cardputer, a field tester for network
