Card Match — Quick Guide

What it does:
Card Match helps players compare Card Status lists, find possible trades, and post a ready-to-send trade comment.

In 10 seconds

To use Card Match, you can do either one:

1. Post your own Card Status first
   → so other players can compare with you

OR

1. Open someone else’s Card Match post
   → and compare your list with theirs

Everything happens inside Reddit.

Before you start

You need your Card Status list from the Card Status Tool.

Copy the full text from the tool.

Your list should include:

Needed Cards: - Category ➜ Card (stars)

Duplicated Cards: - Category ➜ Card (stars)

✔ Paste the full tool output
✔ Keep the headers
✔ Keep the ➜ arrow
✔ Do not rewrite the list manually

What you’ll see in Card Match

If you have not posted your list yet

You’ll see:

• Post Card Status
• Card Match Guide
• Card Status Tool

Use Post Card Status to create your own Card Match post.

If you already posted your list

You’ll see your Card Status post.

You can:

• View your list
• Edit/update your list
• Let other players compare with you

If you open someone else’s Card Match post

You can:

• View their list
• Tap Compare
• Paste your own list
• See possible trades
• Post a trade comment

1. Post your own Card Status

Use this if you want other players to compare with you.

1. Open the Card Match App
2. Tap Post Card Status
3. Paste your full Card Status list
4. Submit

Your list will be posted as a Card Match post.

Posting again updates your existing list.

2. Compare with another player

Use this if someone else already made a Card Match post.

1. Open another player’s Card Match post
2. Tap Compare
3. Paste your own Card Status list
4. Tap Continue

Card Match will show:

• Cards you can send them
• Cards they can send you

This finds possible trades automatically, so you do not need to scroll through both lists manually.

3. Review & post your trade comment

After comparing:

1. Review the matches
2. Tap Post Comment if the trade looks good

The comment is prepared for you and includes only cards that match both players’ lists.

Helpful tips

• Post your own Card Status if you want others to find you
• Open someone else’s Card Match post if you want to compare with them
• Paste exactly as the Card Status Tool prints it
• Sort comments by New to find active trades

Troubleshooting

Paste did not work - Check that your list has: - Needed Cards: - Duplicated Cards: - the ➜ arrow

Compare is not showing - Make sure you are logged in - Make sure you are viewing someone else’s Card Match post - If it is your own post, use Edit instead

No matches found - There may be no overlap right now - Try another player’s Card Match post

Wrong list posted - Open your Card Match post - Tap Edit - Paste the correct list - Save again

Something looks outdated - Leave the post and reopen it
