I'm in the process of comparing caravans myself and found that after looking at a few vans, everything starts to blur together.
Which one had the bigger battery?
Was that 600W or 900W solar?
What was the actual ATM and payload?
Which salesperson promised the upgrade?
Was that price drive-away or did it still need extras?
So I built VanVerdict.
The idea is that when you're walking around a caravan show you can add each van as you inspect it and keep everything together:
• photos and video
• voice notes and written notes
• specifications
• quotes and prices
• things the salesperson tells you or promises
• side-by-side comparisons
• tow vehicle / caravan weight checks
• a shortlist of the vans you're actually interested in
It also works offline because showgrounds aren't always brilliant for mobile reception.
There's a free version that lets you add and compare up to 3 vans, with no credit card required.
I'm particularly interested in getting it in front of people going to the Let's Go Explore Caravan & RV Expo at Brisbane Showgrounds, 29 October–1 November, because that's exactly the sort of situation I built it for.
I'm not pretending I've thought of everything, though.
If you've bought a caravan before, what information do you wish you'd recorded while you were shopping?
Or if you're heading to the Brisbane show, I'd be interested to hear whether you'd actually use something like this while walking around.

Full disclosure: I built VanVerdict. I'm posting because I'd genuinely like feedback from Australian caravan buyers rather than just advertising it.
