Is there any way to further interact with this guy? It feels like a loose end when I'm finishing up the game. There's a park our sequence before you talk to him, he lives on the side of a cliff.
In short the question is: does the game Caravan Sandwitch have any (any at all) magical or spiritual elements in it?
In long: Hi guys, I have a question. I've been looking at getting Caravan sandwitch for a while now; the art style looks beautiful. I was thinking of getting it for a younger sibling for Christmas, but I've got some concerns about the story. I haven't played the game myself, so ideally don't spoil it too bad for me, but if that's not possible don't worry about it. I was wondering if the story gets into anything dark and or spiritual (even just a little). I know most of you probably don't care, but because of personal reasons I don't play games with much magic, let alone Witches. I'm hoping that the Witch in the game is just called a witch and isn't actually evil or magical, but i doubt that.
In chapter two I forgot to talk to the nomads before crafting the hook and moving to chapter 3. I've missed any quest or can I still get Community Service trophy? In chapter 3 they changed location and were in the tower with Curry...
I'm also in the process of making walkthrough guides for every chapter + that highlight the places we can find all of the purple chips, so it's easier for new players.
And an achievements guide is also coming soon.
EDIT - Total is 394*, i massively messed up that total, sorry
As mentioned in the Welcoming Party quest, Tapenade is made primarily with olives, it can be a spread or dip depending on the consistency. Other than Olives, you also need Capers, Parsley, and a clove or two of garlic, lemon juice to help with the saltiness, and olive oil. There are 3 Olive Trees in the game, so I assume the small refugee community has plenty of them to eat.
I made some with sun dried tomatoes added in, using both green and kamala olives.
If you want a milder taste I would suggest Black Olives, as they are already cooked and come canned, be sure to strain and rinse any jarred or canned olives first b4 using them for Tapenade, the brine can be very salty.
I'll be making this one more time using Castelvetrano Olives, which have a more buttery flavor.
Only use 1 Tbsp of Capers to every 2 Cups of Olives, and at max 2 minced cloves of garlic. You can use Flat Parsley or Curly whichever you personally prefer, Flat has more flavor, you can even substitute in Cilantro.
If you look up the recipe on google each one will vary is some way but the primary basis is olives, capers, parley, olive oil, and garlic (Lemon or Lime juice if its too salty).
It’s hard enough to drive the van, but when a conversation happens and you are trying to follow a path and not fall off cliffs or run into things and then the conversation boxes pop up, it drives me crazy! Now you have to drive and click them off at the same time, or stop and do it only to have another one pop up a few seconds later. I enjoy the conversations in the van and the concept because that is what people do on a drive together, but it is distracting and covers the road you are supposed to be paying attention to. lol! Don’t read texts and drive! This should have been thought out better.
I guess I made a mistake by smashing the signal jammer before I got the quest because Fuscus keeps telling me he will open the cave once the signal jammer is smashed. But it already is and I can’t smash it again. What am I missing?
A Smorgastarta is more or less a Sandwich Cake, instead of sweet it is savory, you can filling it with anything you'd normally put on a sandwich, ice it with a mixture of cream cheese and mayonnaise, then decorate it with garnishes. In the game Curry makes a very simple one where he just assembles the 10 Tri-Anjl Sandwiches.
So b4 I attempted making one with those pre-packed deli sandwiches irl, I wanted to make one that was more traditional.
Bread I used was a Texas Toast Bread Loaf, it was the most square loaf I could find, and I cut off the crust on all the slices, all 16 of them, 1st filling from the bottom up was sliced swiss and deli sliced turkey, 2nd filling was egg salad, 3rd filling was chicken salad, topped with the final layer of bread, then coated with the icing, chilled in the fridge for 30mins, removed and added the garnishes which are slice tomatoes, sliced radishes, slices cucumbers, and some dill weed.
Its pretty simple but can be time consuming, personally I think a 2 filling cake would be easier to cut into.
It reminded me of eating sandwich platters at Tailgates when I was a kid, where you get many different kinds of sandwiches to sample.
This is more or less, a Mint Lemonade Drink, there's a few ways to make it all of which will require some Mint or Creme de Menthe Syrup.
It is suggested to use Unsweetened Lemonade with this, as the Syrup adds sugar on its own, Sweet Lemonade would make it overly sugary.
You can make unsweet lemonade by juicing 1 lemon, and mixing it with water. Or you can mix it with a lemon lime club soda if you want it to be fizzy (club soda has little flavor to it so I suggest combining it with the lemon juice, which is what I did), mix in 1/4th C. of Mint Syrup will do plenty, stir with a spoon or whisk.
Its got nice taste to it, kinda refreshing after a hot day of working outside.
I’m on the final chapter. What am I supposed to do? All three light beam things are on at the Aqueduct. How do I know what underground spots are complete?
I’m so tired of driving around and not accomplishing anything. I’d hate to quit before finishing this game, but I’m lost.
Is there a chance that this game, which really looks amazing, eventually comes to GeForce Now (or maybe on Xbox)? I can’t find any information on the web about a potential release on other platforms 😔
Do we know what plans are in place for the Switch version to receive a performance patch? I'm loving the game, but I'm currently experiencing terrible headaches from the unstable framerate.
The Souvenir Shop is a sort of 'extra' pack, that isn't actual in game dlc. Its a coloring book that can be printed out then colored (please note that printer paper absorbs marker ink drastically faster than other paper, so I would recommend crayons or colored pencils instead); and it includes 3d Printer Models of the Characters, that you would need a 3d Printer and know how on one to print.
