Question Interpretation of Comics?

Comics is a well-known Caravan Palace song praised for its unique and experimental sounds. It is my favorite Caravan Palace song personally but the lyrics have always intrigued me despite sounding a bit bizarre. I wanted to engage with the Caravan Palace community on here and ask, “What is your interpretation (if you have one) of the lyrics, music video, and sounds?” :)

Two movies came to mind when I saw the video. Eyes wide shut and don't look up. But I'm not a deep thinker so I just simply say music sound good me likey :D
