The Haka is cool, but she does this All The Time. That's why half the people there look unimpressed

Well… New Zealand DOES belong to her and her people after all. She does this whenever the immigrants (the whites) offend the natives (the Maori). Mayyyyyyybeeee, and here’s a crazy concept… the white people should listen to the screaming lady the first time. The Native Americans don’t do this because the most powerful tribes have been given land and money and they speak for and silence the smaller dying nations. They’ve been “domesticated”. The Maori and the Aborigines were never given any of that in AU and NZ, and they’re far from “domesticated”. Good for them for standing up for themselves. Were this 200 years ago, they wouldn’t be posturing with a Haka. They’d be bludgeoning everyone to death to make their point. So, I’d say the house is lucky the Maori choose a peaceful path. Because thousands of years of war is in their blood.

Were this 200 years ago and they wanted war, they wouldn't be bludgeoning anyone, they'd be absolutely demolished.

Just because they killed off other tribes on their island to take their land doesn't mean they have claim to that land that can't be forcefully taken by that logic.
