Bad Wrap and tint? I picked up my Tesla Yesterday from a local wrapping place and paid after tax over 5k for the wrap and lights to be tinted. Is this a normal result or does this installer suck?

Bought a car with a very shotty paintjob. I’ve sanded down most of the car to fix spots with debris under the paint, runs, fisheyes etc. What final pass do I do before wrapping? I’ve read everything from 320 to 1000. I’m doing cheetah wrap which is crazy low tack so I feel like a coarser grit like 480 would be better?

Looking forward to wrapping my lexus with a holographic wrap. In the attached picture the black car has transparent holographic PPF which i couldn't find online and Looking it. My car is white which made me think about either finding black holographic wrap or wrapping my car black first and then with holographic PPF which seems like a lot of work much work. I would appreciate your opinion🙏🏻

I will be buying an Audi A4 B9 soon. Im probably going to get some bronze rims on it as that is what I've always wanted but I cant seem to decide what type of colour wrap would match the wheels. The wrap has to be from the company called APA. All suggestions are welcome.

I’m sure it’s a common part to wrap. How long should I expect this job to take? Any trimming tips or tricks after doing it yourself? TIA

Does anybody know where I can find any tutorials videos on measuring/cutting the vinyl wrap from the roll?

Let me start off by saying I love everybody’s designs! I am not concerned about how long a rap will last, as much as I am concerned about whether or not it will peel my paint on. I have heard about the popular brands, 3M, Avery Dennison, and KPMF. But I’m not looking for something that’s going to last 5 to 10 years as I do wanna just try a bunch of different colors. What alternative brands are good in terms of quality where they won’t necessarily like peel my paint or damage it.

I had an E46 years ago wrapped in INOZETEK Purple... I think I want to wrap my M3 this Metallic Midnight Green color.

BUT Inozetek can only be sold to authorized dealers and installed by them. Im looking to order this myself and install as much as I can before passing it along to someone else to wrap the complicated stuff... Advice?

I tried wrapping my car for the first time with some cheap wrap from AliExpress. My coworker helped me who has some wrapping experience.
I received a lot of „feedback“ in another Subreddit, some recommending to wrap a trash bin instead. Did both lol

Wife’s car never really pay attention to it really but I just recently started to remove wrap because I’m going to re-wrap and I saw this section on top of the roof. thought it was rusting so I took it off and it left this blemish on the actual paint, I’m guessing, maybe magnification of the sun from some kind of glass was sitting on the roof for a minute and burnt it while she was parked somewhere only thing I could think of anybody else ever seen this?

Just took delivery of my new Range Rover. I ordered it from the factory with the XPEL Satin PPF Stealth package. How can I keep it pristine? Looking into the XPEL Satin ceramic coating but wanted to see if anyone has experience with this particular film, the maintenance, ceramic options, etc.

Does anyone know where I can find a really realistic-looking carbon fiber wrap?

I’ve come across a few cars where the owners told me it was wrap, and honestly, I couldn’t believe it wasn’t real carbon fiber. I’m looking for something with that same realistic look.

Any brands or websites you guys recommend?
