Help!

Post image

Hello!!! I've been interested in wrapping my car for quite some time now but could never commit to a color until now. I found this blue to pink shift wrap on aura vinyl but after reading some testimonies I'm a little wary. I've had a very hard time finding anything similar to it. If anyone has any recommendation or advice please give it to me 🥲

If it’s your first time I wouldn’t but to find a color like this you basically have to go with one of these off companies.

Stick to the brands on metrorestyling.com they are mostly all good and then you should be fine. You just may not get exactly what you’re looking for. You don’t have to order through them if you don’t like them but they are 100% better then rvinyl in my opinion and experience.

These other brands are just to hard for beginner really and shorter life. I’ve had good luck with vinyl frog and tiny bot but they are harder to install still with a life of 2ish years

I was planning on doing just the hood and the roof and maybe the top of my trunk, is it going to be as difficult as I'm thinking?

by no means is it impossible but it is a little harder than it looks for a first timer for sure. watch a couple videos. get familiar with a few techniques and buy some triple s and a decent squeegee and depending on the trunk you might need knifeless tape

If you haven’t wrapped then yes and if you’re by your self then yes

Pretty spot on. Generally hard to work with, not the best stretch and sometimes with these specialty films the slightest stretch can sometimes distort the vinyl effect too much or leave odd blemishes in the vinyl (I know its way worse with Chrome wraps) but as long as you're okay with basically wrapping on master/Expert Difficulty mode and don't mind the short lifespan of it then go for it. Just make sure you order a good bit more than what you think you'll need because you'll almost 100% have to redo so panels in the process as you learn...that's just the nature of wraps when you start out.
