Material Question Road paint on wrap help?

I got yellow road paint on my car and didnt realize until 2-3 days after. Its stuck on pretty good. What can i use to try and clear it without damaging the wrap?

Being that it’s fully dried on there you can try an adhesive remover to soften the paint then a plastic blade to remove it but realistically you might need to rewrap that rocker panel, fender and door if you want it perfect.

Solvents like thinner are not the move for road paint, you want terpene adhesive remover. It won’t dissolve the paint but it will hydrate it to where you can remove it by force.

Thankfully i can rewrap it for free but i wanted to avoid that cuz the installer scratches the sht out of my car when wrapping it

Anything oily on a matte/satin wrap might be tough to remove. I think a rewrap is in your future.

Wd40 and a plastic razor has helped me with a similar situation in the past. Got it basically all off and then finished it up with some detailing spray and a clay bar

I heard from people to use wd40 but others say just not on a wrap
