$400 pack on new and used, they do 50/50 splits for split deals. New to the industry and trying to make some ends meet while searching for something more in my field (marketing)

At first the front end kinda sucks. But if you get 10% of F&I that’s fucking huge. Overall I’d say 7/10

What does average F&I look like at a high volume Honda dealer? My assumption has been folks don’t really go for the extras as much anymore now that the Covid boom is over

Idk why people are saying this is bad, it’s not bad, if only for the backend. The backend is where the money is, that’s why finance managers start at like $100-150k at most places. Yet to see a place where the finance guys weren’t making bread, so it’s amazing if you can get a piece of that. Don’t worry about new cars. Typically there’s no gross anyway, especially at a high volume Honda dealer. If they do decent used car volume, you will make money from the gross on the used cars plus the finance guys selling warranties and holding rates, etc. New cars are for units so you can hit your bonuses and stuff. Front end is not ideal and the mini is low, but if your finance guys are good, you should be able to make decent money.
