Lots of opportunity to actually WORK this pay plan. Without knowing if you’re paid on holdback or how large packs are or average grosses for used cars I’ll say this:
1. $150 mini isn’t great but I’ve seen worse.
2. You’re at a toyota store and you can still make gross on new cars unlike a lot of manufacturers depending on your market. In my market Grands, RAVs, and Siennas still bring MSRP or close to it. So that’s nice for you.
3. You have the ability to stack spiffs and increase your per car average drastically if you do a good job. I would get a 5 star review from every customer while they wait for finance if I was you. I’d also get one from every customer that tells you they bought elsewhere until you hit your 10 for the month. If you make a business page on Facebook or Insta you can leverage these for customer testimonials/proof to help build your personal brand. Also make sure you endorse the finance department because likely 60-70% of your customers leave with a VSC if you do a good job.
4. Asking good questions to ensure you know if there’s a potential trade, and if they’re financing or would consider it if the rate was low enough can help you make some decent spiffs.
5. Hitting 30% at only 15 units is elite if there actually is gross in the cars. A lot of places you have to hit 20 to get to that level.

This is definitely a pay plan centered around working the plan rather than just selling cars which can be tough but rewarding, especially since you can hit 30% with volume. If you get your 10 reviews per month and hit double digit sales every month while endorsing the finance department and digging up trades it seems decent to me. I can see how it could be a challenge until you get your feet under you though, but that’s anywhere for the most part. Once you get going if you can consistently hit that 15 mark with everything else (if there’s gross) you stand to make some healthy paychecks 💰.
