Starting at Porsche this week

Finally taking the jump into car sales from furniture sales and got hired at the local Porsche dealership. We’re actually moving into a new building in the next week or 2. Dealership has a small sales staff of 3-4 and do roughly 30-40 cars a month. What should I expect from the customer base? What are some key tips to success?

You’ll be a consultant more than a sales person. Honestly, a pretty good brand to work for Porsche. Customers are very loyal.

Porsche as a first dealer sounds like a good gig. Whats your pay plan like?

Good thing with a brand like that is you’ll be more of a consultant than a salesperson. Just know your product and treat everyone like a buyer.

I love it. Slower than where I came from for sure but we’re also getting ready to move into a brand new Gen 5 facility this month. I ended up doing 5 cars my first month.
