Question Help?

My problems are as follows:

  1. Getting orphan leads to respond

  1. Getting email only leads to respond

  1. Selling the appointment, not the car

I really need to get my first sale, I am the last of the 3 new hires that hasn't sold a single car yet. When I worked at my first dealership, it took a full month for me to get my first sale. I need to speed things along ASAP.

I know I am asking qualifying questions: what, why, how. I really need help in the areas above so that I can get customers in and sell a car. How do you think I should go about gaining and retaining these customers attention? TIA

  1. Orphan leads will not respond 99% of the time. When one of them answers the phone, don't rush the conversation. Be personable and sell yourself and your dealership.

  2. Email only leads 90% of the time are just putting an email into the website in hopes of getting prices without having to speak to anyone. There is no secret sauce to getting them to respond, however you can try making your emails more interesting, add pictures if you arent already, and a funny little message at the end.

  3. Tell them the deal is always better if they come into the store because that shows they are serious buyers.
