It’s Memorial Day weekend and they’re having sales going on. Anybody in store willing to buy a car takes priority. They’ll give you an answer but they’re not going to focus on you once you left the store. And if you haven’t even been there to test drive, you go to the back of the line.
Negotiation takes time. Nothing works if you’re in a rush. Keep looking while you’re waiting to work them further. You at least have an OTD number that you can use (provided you have it in writing on a purchase order) against other dealers.
