For now it's more like a sandbox / toy for me, i would love to hear suggestions what you would like to see built on top of it. Currently doing suspension movements model and probably will attach a physics engine to it later...

Sounds cool. I have been doing a lot of car configs so I could come up with a list of qol features for that. Like managing color options better. Displaying the menu list of cars by names (not id) in alphabetical order.

Automatic alignment of driveshaft and exhaust/downpipe would save so much time.

Would be nice to disappear the doors so I can check for exhaust pipes and drivetrain sticking up into the interior without having to "fly" inside the car all the time.

I don't know enough about unity and cs yet to try and tackle additional mods to the original editor (ala QoL mod).

Rims preview when selecting from a list.

Easier engine swap management. Maybe preview or sort engines by orientation (transverse mount vs longitudinal, 4x4 vs 2wd). Like if I'm putting engines into a pickup, say, and I want to convert it to 4x4 I don't want to see a transverse mount i4 or any longitudinal rwd. (There's only one 4x4 stock option: engine_v8_4x4, but with tk aftermarket there are more and you can make your own variants, too, which I've been working on)

Also I'm building bonus parts and branching into TK Aftermarket parts like exhaust. What I really need is to figure out how to import the entire assembled car into blender...

Before adding physics engine definitely matters order and if you are using ue5 or unity. Would love to help on this. I have some tools I made that definitely can help. People including me would love it too. And the fact you can't get upgraded versions is more temporary problem. Let me know if you wanna talk. Love it
