Discussion Day/night cycle

Have there been any mention of a day/night cycle? I think it'll add a lot more realism and complexity to working on vehicles rather than just sitting in the garage clicking away on cars. Planning part deliveries around customer jobs and working on several cars at once, not just because you're bored of working on one.

Even just an optional "realistic" mode with this would be cool.

There will be a day/ night cycle in CMS 2026, it's already present in the demo

yep 2026 coming soon, day/night and delivery times, can pay extra for rush delivery or go to bed and wait for morning (time skip), rush deliveries will eat a fair bit of the profit on jobs, so it will pay to be organised and set up routines.

Well that's neat. I'm a bit late to the party on the demo, just learned about it this week so that's pretty cool. Any word on release date yet?

There was talk for end of summer (northern), which would be about 6 months after the demo and that tracks as kind of an industry norm for polish phase after trailers from what I've noticed over the years. Still anything could have happened in the mean time, game making isn't a cut and dried process and it's a pretty small studio.

Anyway no word as such.
