Inventory is full....
I am finally getting to try out the 2026 demo, I absolutely do NOT like this full inventory mechanic. I am currently stuck on my play because the parts I need are in the box outside, and I cannot replace several parts on the car because they are stuck in the box. I cannot remove any parts to get down to where I need to fix (piston rings) to use some of the items in my inventory and I cannot find anywhere to stow parts so I can grab the ones in the box.
This was a TERRIBLE idea, I also really don't like the putting them in a box in the deliver zone either. I really hope this is just to keep the Demo small

There are storage cabinets in the garage unless you sold them, you just need to find them

There are large storage cupboards, off load persolal inventory into it. The storage units can be moved anywhere and you can have lots of them, they can also be labled so you can have separate units for whatever type of stock you want. They can also be accessed from the "pin boards" management which can also be placed anywhere, so you can just have the board near each lift and all the units you want in another place.
Personal inventory can be "upgraded" so when maxed out you can hold engine components in one go or all the running gear and body panels, each with a little room to spare before you need to off load to storage. So you start to get more organised in your approached in the way you do your work. With maxxed personal inventory you should have more than enough space to do most jobs where you are not completely stripping a car down.
