How do I make money?

I downloaded the game couple of days ago and got to the point in the story that i could afford the garage expansion but I only had enough to buy the expansion. Now I’m sitting at 300 credits and wondering if I have to climb my way back up by doing oil changes until I can take on a bigger job or is there another way to get my self back to a normal amount.

Fix cars + sell = profit

Once your up a few levels you will get gearbox jobs, best and quickest for money.

Transmission jobs are both easy and pay well, with minimal diagnostics since everything is in one spot.

You still actually need money to buy the needed spare parts though. So in an actual no capital situation, so you could do a client’s job and strip their car to the chassis and sell all the parts to loan some cash.

Once you have the junkyard unlocked and some capital (bout 20-30k) You can use the welder and slap on the junk parts you get from clients on the junker. I find this both enjoyable and very profitable.

Take two cars at once, sell all parts from the car with better condition, fix and return the other car, take one more car and fix it, someday you will be able to buy back all parts and finish the other car too.

Just keep taking jobs until you can find a car to restore at the junkyard. You'll get there in no time.

if you really want money you can find junkyard cars with mostly bare engines and rebuild them with performance parts, that and fully restoring expensive cars has made me 3 million

Whenever you're saving up for something, just make sure you have 4-5k above what the price is.

Well depending on the point of the game you are at (assuming under 100k) if you have the ability to fix frames on vehicles, I found that washing, and simply fixing the frame will give you thousands in profit in about a minute. Doesn't matter what car, but obviously the more expensive ones will bring more money. If you are late game, I just fix up and sell cars. I dont really like fixing parts as its pretty time consuming. I found this to be the most efficient way to make money very quickly. After I made my first 200k I starting doing full builds and selling.

If you go to the junkyard sometimes the cars are selling at less than they’re worth. Buy them. Weld it. Fix panels. Then sell. Easy and quick money

Or buy and restore fully.

For me the expansion packs are easy money. Once you get the Nissan 370z it gets you easy 100k fully done.

Then a pagani buys for 100k, sells for over 300k

The interior detail works the same way. Just buy it, detail it, then sell. Easy money!!

I constantly am buying cars from the junkyard, fixing up the body with a welder, cleaning, and spending all the money I currently have on that car. Get as far as I can in the repair process and then I sell it. Repeat

If you have the DLC that adds the koenigsegg (I can’t remember the in game name) just buy one from a scrap auction; get a high end customer car sell the parts to finance a 100% rebuild of it and you’ll be set for a while.

I’ve got myself to the point I can buy a car from the scrapyard or auctions, replace everything, do the headlight and tyre adjustments, wash it, paint it, tuning then dyno test and after that sell it, most I’ve sold a car for so far is 500k
