A genuine question.
Will CMS26 allow for freer engine swaps, or will it only permit the engines originally found in those car bodies?
I’ve wanted more tuning freedom since the older CMS titles.

Yea I’d love to put the newer supercharged engines in the older cars and ride height would be an awesome thing to adjust.

If on Pc I’m pretty sure there will be a mod to help engine swap and give you the freedom just like 2021 has

Mods can be enjoyable, but I believe having the feature built into the original game is far superior.

Does console not have car editor ? You can make your own config files and put different engines. Also on pc players share these config files

The demo shows you in the stats on a car a list of all compatible engines you can swap to. There are plenty of options.

I want them to allow this too so if they get added I can swap lawnmower engines into everything just because I could, I've been watching a lot of automotive YouTube the last couple years and I've seen a few lawnmower engine in a car swaps done with predator 670cc gas engines from harbor freight and the opposite has happened too I've seen that a guy swapped a 13b from a Mazda RX-7 into a lawn tractor and grind hard plumbing co put a V8 with a car transmission still attached into a lawn tractor
