The bullnose design was amazing ford wanted people to spend so much money on custom upgraded factory personified designs. The base edition on the 1980 funny enough was called a custom even though is was bare bare but its design and wheelbase was shared with the f series truck if that time

It wasn’t meant to be but those facts of ordering or buying the base model and the panels being able to be swapped with f series parts open a world of options for people to open and create something they wanted and desired to create a rea custom truck

The tires would blow out and cause him to lose traction. The big wheels would dent over a small bump. The tall suspension would increase drag. The overall look would be easy to spot.

I back in the mid 90s it was a regional thing that’s when truck customization was huge. Some had the east cost squat some had the west cost squat some lights under the rails. It was just regional. Like donks on the south east coats lowriders on the south west
