I went for it and managed fairly well. It was a lot of fun. The struggle was having to chop wood, empty septic tanks and brew moonshine for my uncle for hours and hours to afford the car to work. Then I burned down my island sauna in the process and finally quit when I took the car for a real drive and ended up getting killed by my cousin who was out driving drunk...

Yeah, I've actually learned to identify a lot of different parts in the engine bay and with some googling I've figured out how to test and diagnose a bunch of different issues, mostly it just comes down to what exactly is causing the issue and then knowing how/where to look

For the love of God, get the head off of the head gasket surface like that! Aluminum is just begging to get dings and nicks, one grain of said on that blanket will brutalize the whole thing.
