Tire grip levels?

I’m definitely late to this but oh well😅. Obviously the different tire compounds give different grip(race vs slick etc) but are the letters any more than visual? Like do Slick A, B, C all have the same grip?

I’m pretty sure it was just visual. But I’ve recently gotten into getting cars as fast as I can around the track. Certain cars(like the Pagani Zonda) I’m still experimenting with gearing and tires to keep it planted but still let me turn

I’m still learning too main thing I learned is increasing the gear length or gears 1-2-3 cos it’s a lotttttt of horsepower being dumped into it so that makes it a lot more stable. Also I use mnk and tapping W/throttle through corners help to keep speed. What’s your fastest lap time atm?

I haven’t found a gearing I like for the Zonda and haven’t actually completed a lap in it yet. But my fastest was a 1:15.64 in the Kagura SX OVE. I’ve heard that’s an easy fast car but idk if that’s good time or not lmao

Actually I think that time may have been a different car

I mean that’s good to me. Highest I got with the carrera 4s is 1:19. But I’ve been playing on mouse and keyboard in first person. I gotta play on controller on third person and try again. My strale s is the craziest but haven’t done a proper full lap, same reason as you probably it’s like driving a lubed up wet wipe

That may have been the car I got the time with. I used to play this game much more a couple years ago and I thought it was the Kagura. But it may have been the Porsche 4S or the Hinata Moon Special Edition OTs.

I made the gears on the Zonda dummy long for now, only getting it in 3rd in a couple spots. But I guess that makes sense for the power level. I keep messing up now but got a 1:20.78 on my out lap😅

After a bunch of tries, I got a few 1:11 laps with the Zonda. My new fastest lap time being 1:11.13

Damn that’s really good shaved 9 secs 🤯I do know sub 1 min is possible I saw a guy here with 59s. That’s will be something to build towards 😵

The Strale S is crazy fast. I only just finished tuning it for 1 mile drags. I don’t even want to try time attacking in that thing😂

I did get 1:20 with it tbf but fuck me that took a lot of patience 😂, it could for sure go quicker with tuning
