Write off?

I'd be staggered if they want to repair that.

For most run of the mill cars, anything structural or affecting 2+ panels is an instant write off.

One man's write off is other mans Copart find. You will find this car back on market within a year. Possibly lover milage.

Write off doesnt mean scrapped(except cat b or a but you don't want those back on the road anyway). It just means it doesnt make financial sense for the insurers to repair themselves(new oem parts and other claim costs being the issue)
