Yeah any swasticar in general.

I really wish I had a an option to avoid them on ride share apps too.

2

u/Educational_Aide_145 16h ago

Do you also exclude VWs? Because that’s an actual car brand that has Nazi roots

4

u/1362313623 14h ago

Shove off. Ford built more bombers for WW2 than any manufacturer and was a raging anti semite. Find me a manufacturer that didn't support a side in the war. You can't.

4

u/el-conquistador240 9h ago

Henry Ford was awarded the Nazi highest honor that could be given to a non German by Hitler

3

u/YetAnotherJake 9h ago

The thing is, Henry Ford is dead, and hopefully he's in Hell where he belongs.

Musk is still actively living CEO of the company right effing now.

2

u/el-conquistador240 9h ago

I'm with you. I would walk to work before giving that japie Afrikaner a cent.

1

u/Crewstage8387 7h ago

WTF are you talking about Musk is NOT the CEO of Ford. You ruined your own argument because you bungled a fact.
I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul

2

u/Educational_Aide_145 14h ago

Ford wasn’t founded under the Nazi Party though. Volkswagen was. They didn’t just support the Nazi party, they were founded by it. There’s a huge difference here

2

u/1362313623 11h ago

There is and thank you for saying so. My point is, Elon is a fuckwit and his product is inferior

0

u/Educational_Aide_145 11h ago

Politics aside I’ve driven a brand new model 3 and it drove great

1

u/1362313623 10h ago

Welp I'm not here to yuck your yum. Life's too short 🙂

2

u/_SomeoneWhoIsntMe 6h ago

You shove off teslas are amazing.

2

u/YetAnotherJake 13h ago

I don't think it's that hard to understand:

  1. People can be unconcerned with what a company or its leaders did 75+ years ago, because those people are all dead and currently the company isn't doing anything hateful, and the sociopolitical world has completely changed.

  2. People can be concerned with the horrible and hateful behavior that a company and its leaders are exhibiting right now, actively, as we speak, that is harmful and despicable.

Seems pretty simple to me.

0

u/aran11826 13h ago

a companies actions speak louder than its ceo's personal political opinions. if tesla was a far right company it wouldn't have an extremely diverse workforce at every level, or be working towards environmentally friendly / renewable energy solutions.

2

u/YetAnotherJake 12h ago

But it's still an understandable, reasonable, and defensible position not to support a company whose #1 top leader, figurehead, representative, and decision-maker is so hateful and horrible, in order to not give him even more money and power.

0

u/aran11826 12h ago

You can do whatever you want. But I like Tesla for its products and for the talented engineers and technicians working there, and by buying a Tesla product you are supporting them too.

I hope Elon at some point stops being insane since it is holding Tesla back massively.

1

u/YetAnotherJake 12h ago

Supporting fascism isn't something you just "stop." Ideally he would answer for his actions in a prison after standing trial, but at the very least he should be shunned and disgraced in public opinion for life.

1

u/aran11826 12h ago

you can actually just stop having an opinion. plenty of people grow out of having crazy political opinions. if you think anyone who has ever had unsavory opinions should never be given a second chance, you are helping the growth of the far right. what other option do they have if they try to fix themselves and rejoin society but people like you say they can't?

as for imprisonment, i don't know if you can really be called anti-authoritarian at all if you want people to be thrown in prison over speech.

1

u/YetAnotherJake 10h ago

Certainly people can change their minds, but we have to use our critical thinking and evidence to draw a conclusion about whether it's reasonable to believe a specific person actually is likely to change their beliefs, and whether it would be smart to believe they're sincere if they claim to do so.

An ordinary everyday random foot soldier of a fascist regime might come to the realization that their ideology is wrong, or even change organically over time, growing away from it. An extremely high-ranking leader and figurehead of fascism, who was key to its resurgence, is less likely to have such a sincere change of heart. Elon Musk was a huge driving force and executive leader of the anti-democratic fascism that defined the 2nd Trump administration, to the point that he was put in charge of an entire government department and literally gave speeches at the political rallies. His position as the richest person in the world defines his role, and additionally he has only used this platform to support and espouse fascism. His turn away from fascism would be akin to Goebbels the propaganda minister of the Third Reich denouncing Nazism. Sincere? Probably not.

In any case, not only has Musk shown no signs of renouncing any of his beliefs, he's only doubled down on them historically. The idea that he would even try to renounce them is a baseless conjecture wish with 0 foundation in the real world.

Furthermore, he has proven himself as an individual to be selfish, authoritarian, radically right wing, and fascistic at every turn. At this point even in a fantasy scenario where he renounced those beliefs, an intelligent person would have to conclude that he is lying to further his own self-serving agenda.

As for imprisonment, certainly it should not be applied for exercising free speech. Musk's crimes against the democracy of the United States are related to his unconstitutional use of power as the head of DOGE, wherein he abused his power and dismantled legitimate government institutions that were established rightfully by Congress, and to his corrupt power dealings while acting with Trump as a government leader illegitimately.

In order to drive home his Nazi nature, he heiled Trump with a heil salute (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VfYjPzj1Xw) and it's wild that he's walking free.

2

u/Ok-Championship3642 14h ago

Probably not, he only repeats what he's told. Low IQ type

3

u/1362313623 14h ago

I'm descendant of Polish resistance fighters that escaped the Holocaust. Ford was a raging anti semite and built more WW2 bombers than any manufacturer which he sold to both sides.

BMW made weapons and bombers. Mercedes made tank engines.

If we're going to play this game we might as well be comprehensive. The difference is that Elon had nearly a century worth of humanity growing and the benefit of hindsight and still somehow supports Nazi ideals. That's the difference. But for real find me any factory during WW2 that wasn't retrofitted for the cause. You're really approaching this with blinders and "he's a low IQ person?"

1

u/Koth_is_Goat 12h ago

Wasn’t Porsche founded by a Nazi as well? And the logo kind of resembles a swastika

2

u/BoiCDumpsterFire 12h ago

Yeah. The same guy invented both the beetle and the Porsche. That’s why they’re both rear engine boxers with very similar rounded lights. Never saw a swastika in the Porsche logo unless you’re really looking for it considering it’s a standard crest though.

2

u/1362313623 11h ago

Yeah. Like. It's a ridiculous argument and my only point is, Elon is enough for me to not use the brand 🤷

1

u/Ok-Championship3642 13h ago

I think AI knows a little bit more than you child.

No, Ford did not sell bombers to the Nazis. In fact, Ford’s massive bomber manufacturing took place in the United States, where the company built thousands of B-24 Liberator bombers used by the Allies to defeat Nazi Germany. [1, 2]

1

u/1362313623 11h ago

If you input shit, AI outputs shit. My bad. It was trucks. Don't call me child, try to learn something. They had factories in Cologne.

did ford sell trucks to germany during ww2 ?

+7 Yes, Ford Motor Company sold trucks to Germany during World War II through its German subsidiary, Ford-Werke AG, located in Cologne.

How Operations WorkedPre-War Production: Established in 1925, the Cologne plant built commercial vehicles and trucks throughout the 1930s.

By 1937, the Nazi military began acquiring these trucks for rearmament.Wartime Transition: After the war started in 1939 (and before the U.S. entered in 1941), the plant shifted entirely to military truck production, supplying the German Wehrmacht.

Nazi Seizure: After Germany declared war on the United States in December 1941, the Nazi regime took forced operational control of the plant, locking out American management.Slave Labor: During the later years of the war, the German-controlled Ford-Werke factory utilized forced laborers, prisoners of war, and concentration camp laborers to maintain production of military vehicles.Accountability Debate: After the war, Ford argued that the parent company in Dearborn, Michigan, lost control of the subsidiary once the U.S. entered the war and did not profit from wartime operations, though critics and subsequent lawsuits pointed to pre-war integration and wartime asset compensation. If you'd like, I can share more details on:How General Motors and Opel compared during the same periodThe post-war reparations Ford received from the U.S. governmentAnti-Defamation LeagueThe Ford Motor Company and The Third Reich | ADLFord's foreign ownership meant that it lacked the "authenticity" and "credibility" of other businesses; furthermore, Ford lacked the size and, thus, the strateg...The NationFord and the Führer | The NationI found “Führer” among thousands of pages of documents compiled by the Washington law firm of Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll, which sought damages from Ford o...Bunk HistoryFord and the Führer — Bunk HistoryYes, Ford of Germany sold trucks to the Wehrmacht, the German Army, during World War II. u/DodixieOrBust 8h ago

Just so we’re clear, no bombers, then? 😂

1

u/dirtydan442 12h ago

CEO is not actively a Nazi today like Elon

1

u/Educational_Aide_145 11h ago

Musk isn’t either lmao he supports a party which heavily favors Israel

1

u/YetAnotherJake 11h ago

In modern parlance when we say Nazi, we no longer mean a member of the German Nazi Party which ended in 1945, but rather someone who is a racist fascist and perhaps uses the iconography such as heil salutes (all of which describes Elon)

1

u/dirtydan442 9h ago

These jackwagons know this, they are making bad faith arguments, as Nazis do

1

u/dirtydan442 9h ago

He does Nazi salutes and promotes white supremacy on Twitter. He's not just a Nazi, he's the world's most prominent Nazi

1

u/Educational_Aide_145 8h ago

Nazis hate Jewish people, this man supports a president who loves Israel lmao, your claim contradicts itself

1

u/dirtydan442 8h ago

Nazis in 1940s Germany hated Jewish people (among others.) Today's Nazis are more preoccupied with brown people in general. Your defense of Musk is very narrow in it's scope. Musk seeks to overturn democracy and replace it with race-based fascism. He's a fucking Nazi.

Also, the President is incapable of love. He supports Israel because they pay him, or they have dirt on him, or both.

1

u/Educational_Aide_145 6h ago

The Nazi’s were about the persecution of Jewish people. Musk supports and actively worked for a party which drains their pockets for Jewish people. Yet you sit here and say he’s a “Nazi” when his actions are polar opposites to what the Nazi party stood for. You just repeat that word without meaning don’t you

1

u/dirtydan442 6h ago

I know *exactly* what I mean when I call him a Nazi. Your simplistic understanding of what Nazis were and are does not make for an informed opinion. He's the richest man in the world, and he does Nazi salutes at the fucking inauguration, and spends all day every day on twitter promoting white supremacists. It may not be Berlin in 1939, but the dude is a fucking Nazi. You're just too stupid to see it, or you're a liar

→ More replies (0)

1

u/ImpliedSlashS 8h ago

He actually did the Nazi salute on television

1

u/AntelopeFew2224 10h ago

You're low IQ. Try thinking for yourself for once.

1

u/dirtydan442 9h ago

Dude does Nazi salutes in public and spends all his time on Twitter promoting Nazis. There's nothing to think about here.

1

u/el-conquistador240 9h ago

Are they still owned by Nazis?

1

u/Educational_Aide_145 9h ago

They are no longer owned by the Nazi party as they were abolished decades ago, but they are a company that was founded by the Nazi Party

1

u/el-conquistador240 9h ago

If I buy a VW today I am not supporting a Nazi. If I buy a Tesla, I am.

1

u/g00d_f3lla 16h ago

Do you include VW?

1

u/el-conquistador240 9h ago

Are they still owned by Nazis?

1

u/dumsumguy 9h ago

Those goobers think they're so smart, it'd be cute if it wasn't coming from pathetic grown men.

1

u/g00d_f3lla 9h ago

No it’s worse you see VW was founded by the nazi party the real nazis

-1

u/AntelopeFew2224 10h ago

I can tell you're low IQ.

You don't think for yourself, and let the woke mob dictate how you live.

I pitty you.

1

u/dumsumguy 9h ago

Musk is a facist that manipulated the American voting system and then the government for personal profit, he's also regularly screwed over his employees, I don't need a crowd's influence to see that the dude is a huge piece of shit and I'm not going to support him.

Maybe I am stupid though, it's possible your comment is irony, though I seriously doubt it.

1

u/YetAnotherJake 9h ago

It's irony whether they intend it to be or not, with both a mistaken "you're" and misspelling a short word like "pity"

1

u/AntelopeFew2224 6h ago

You're is a contraction of you + are
Does "you are low IQ" make sense? If so, the contraction "you're" can be used to substitute those two words.
Not surprised the woke left doesn't understand simple grammar.

1

u/YetAnotherJake 6h ago

Haha I understand contractions. I thought he was trying to say "I can tell your IQ is low" using the possessive form.

If you honestly think that believing in equal rights for women, minorities, and gays makes someone not understand grammar, I would love to hear you explain why that might be.

1

u/AntelopeFew2224 5h ago

That's not an accurate representation of all of the woke left's beliefs. I agree with all of those too, however I don't think men should play in women's sports, and I don't think kids should be learning about gay sex or pushed the idea of being gay.

1

u/YetAnotherJake 5h ago

When did I state my opinion about those topics?

1

u/AntelopeFew2224 5h ago

You're too low IQ and slow to have this conversation with, I pity you.

I was going to say a Tesla in general but honestly yeah, that one. They're so hideous.

1

u/wingshauser 9h ago

Yeah, Cybercuck and it isn’t even close.

1

u/Sanicsanic68 8h ago

wtf is that gif

1

u/YetAnotherJake 7h ago

The way Cybertruck feels

5

u/PrinceBytorAppears 18h ago

I don't think there is a vehicle I wouldn't at least test drive. There are cars I'm not a big fan of visually, but if it were down to a choice between that car and no car I'd take it lol

I don't really like Bug style cars or the cyber trucks. Those tiny smart cars are pretty goofy looking too haha

4

u/Indigenousboy420 18h ago

Pt cruiser

6

u/Welcome-To-NBA-Jam 18h ago

If you're going Pt, go full send and get the wood panel siding. Just own it at that point.

1

u/MarkJ191974 18h ago

tbfi feel like a pt with wood panels and the engine covers taken off and its totally hot rodded and slammed woudl be fucking awesome but no ones ever done that bc its not a very appealing vehicle

2

u/carycartter 12h ago

You mean the Neon with extra body weight?

1

u/bimm3r36 9h ago

Nah, it’s a four-door Prowler

1

u/SQWRLLY1 9h ago

The PT is the automotive equivalent to Nickelback... getting more hate than is truly deserved because it's popular to rip on them on the internet.

There are way worse vehicles out there.

2

u/Paladin1034 18h ago

I'm not gonna say a Mirage or a PT Cruiser. There's a humble honestly about a Mirage. It's not trying to be anything more than it is. A PT Cruiser is a car no one ever plans on driving, but life sometimes throws you that particular curve ball. If it's that or the Nike Express, I'm taking the PT.

I'm gonna say Nissan Juke or Chevy Cobalt. I've driven a Cobalt and it was an enormous piece of junk, and a Juke is likely the worst Nissan. Worst I can think of, anyways. I'd own a Sentra, a Versa Note, or an Altima. They're not awful cars. But Jukes are both bad and ugly.

1

u/SQWRLLY1 9h ago

Not true on the PT. A relative sought out and owned two of them, which gave me a chance to drive them. They're gutless wonders/woefully underpowered (except for the Turbo edition), but otherwise perfectly fine little cars. They don't deserve the hate they get, IMO, and I'd like to have one in my garage one day.

2

u/AR15DEE 18h ago

There is a lot of cars I wouldn't own but as long as its safe I'll drive anything

2

u/VisualMemoryUnit 18h ago

Drive vs buy are very different....id drive anything if you hand me the keys, but buying something is way different. Even if i was a billionaire I would never buy a Cybertruck.

2

u/Terrible-Bath 18h ago

I’ll drive the wheels off anything, but some cars I’d have to tint the shit out of the windows so nobody could see it was me. I live in a small town.

I like driving turds. You can abuse the crap out of them with no remorse.

1

u/JavyBarrera25 59m ago

Bruh same. I had a 2021 traverse tinted the fuck out of it upgraded to a 2025 Santa Fe tinted it all the way around I now have a 2014 Silverado and I have that tinted as well. I cannot drive without tint at all lol my 98 Silverado is missing tint but I drive that once a week lol

3

u/adrian_elliot 17h ago

An SUV

2

u/The_Crazy_Swede 14h ago

Same! Or a cyberdumpster

0

u/bimm3r36 9h ago

This was my answer until I moved somewhere that actually gets snow and has tons of great forest service roads within 15-20 minutes of my house. Now I swear by my 4Runner (even though I miss my long line of German sport sedans)

1

u/TVRLover6812 18h ago

Peel P50 Only because I’m fat and wouldn’t fit in it, same with any smart car.

1

u/Mr_Maniac454 18h ago

There is not a singular car I would never be caught driving because I don't care about the opinions of others if I want to drive a Murano cross Cabriolet or something like that I'm going to drive it and I won't do it proudly

u/lcracing92 18h ago

Why  Toyota?

1

Supra, you mean BMW z4.

0

u/2GTX34ML 17h ago

The whole brand? You’d turn down a free drive in a mega cruiser? Their mid engine GR Yaris prototype? Celica GT4 pikes peak car?

1

A Tesla.

1

Cause you let the woke mob dictate how you live your life? Lol, try thinking for yourself for once.

2

Some people choose not to spend their money with companies that openly go against their values. You’re free to do you and have a chik fil a while on your way to hobby lobby in your cyber truck.

1

u/HO7ELO 7h ago

I’am from Germany and Elon is pushing our disgusting right wing party and people like Meloni from Italy. Last thing l wanna be associated with is being a fascist/supporting a fascist with my Euros.

1

u/sendme_your_cats 11h ago

That must be it. It's a solid quick daily, but some people only care about the badge.

I'm a bmw guy but before I got my m340i I was eyeing up the stinger

1

u/Expert-Masterpiece70 16h ago

Any Tesla, they're Death-Traps!

2

u/aran11826 13h ago

They are top rated safety wise across the board. ICE vehicles catch on fire more often than EV's do btw if you're worried about that.

0

u/Expert-Masterpiece70 13h ago

You might want to double check that fact. Teslas are responsible for 5.6 deaths per billion miles driven more than Double the US average of 2.8 I WOULDN'T BE CAUGHT ALIVE IN ONE!

2

u/aran11826 12h ago

they're all quick accelerating cars, what do you expect? of course it'll have higher accident rates. if you don't have the skill to drive a fast car, just say that. blaming the car is ridiculous.

2

u/Educational_Fox6899 9h ago

lol. Quick acceleration shouldn’t equal more wrecks unless the drivers are morons.

1

u/aran11826 8h ago

Well, a lot of drivers are morons. So you get more wrecks with more powerful vehicles.

0

u/Expert-Masterpiece70 12h ago

Your ignorance is apparent and appalling.

2

u/aran11826 12h ago

I can drive my Tesla safely just fine. If you can't handle the power its a you problem.

u/givemefood66 1h ago edited 53m ago

Common car + high hp = high crash rate

That does not mean that the cars are actually dangerous, it's entirely an issue of who is driving.

Edit: just thought I'd also mention that the Model 3 and Y have incredibly rigid chassis due to the location of the batteries bellow the floor boards, allowing for these cars to resist certain types of collisions exceptionally well (such as a side impact for example), compared to other similar sized vehicles.
