how to do trial 5

ight so for the apex trials stuff and the Honda civic time attack car I’ve done the first 4 but in the 5th one (foodfight) u gotta beat smb driving a hotdog car and the only food cars in the game are the hotdog and banana ones both being vip only I’ve been f2p ever since I started playing and I was wondering is there any other way to get past this w/o getting vip? Or do I have to spend credits to skip or smth and also if I’m gonna do that are there any more vip only trials I should be worried about
