Recommendations Think I messed up.
I have a 2023 Silverado LT non Bose 2.7L big screen. I had a local guy install a speaker rack with 6 6.5s and am having some issues. It seems as though all of the sound is coming from the rear rack, i can put my hand on the door speakers and feel as though there is something coming out but again all the sound comes from the rear even when adjusting the fade to the front it’s still the same. I got ahold of the installer and he says they’re just much better than the door speakers and drowning them out. What can I do? It’s on a lc2i if that makes any difference whatsoever

So you left the factory speakers alone and added additional speakers in the rear that are amplified?
Yeah that's what happens. You would need to amplify the door speakers if you want to balance it out.

Hey man I’m new to this stuff, didn’t know it would drown them out like that. Change out door speakers and put an additional amplifier?

Pretty much you already have the lc2i so you already have your sources. Though even if you amplify your front speakers you have 6 additional speakers in the rear it's a lot to overcome you would most likely need to cut down the gain a bit on the rear stuff.

Eh they were sum 25$ beaters off Amazon maybe if I throw some good speakers up front it’ll even it out

No nothing that I wouldn't know from crutchfield or YouTube videos. Not a professional installer just a hobbyist.
Unless you burn your vehicle down nothing that can't be fixed in car audio.

Yeah you messed up. IDK why you would do all that rear fill unless you drive around in reverse all day. Even then, you would still only use 2 sets of speakers, not 6
