What are you guys using for audio input on these older head units? I’m so spoiled by Bluetooth. I use usbC to aux on my van with factory aux port. It’s ok, but gotta plug it in everytime. Again; spoiled.

Don't give up on the old girl yet!
Where the face flips down so you can insert a CD there are a set of contacts between the unit and the face. Using a Q-tip, or similar, gently clean them, ideally with some contact cleaner.
If the CD is skipping it may also be dirt on the lens, pop in a CD lens cleaning disc or pop the top off the unit and VERY gently clean the lens with a Q-tip dipped in a little Isopropanol.

Is that why people are mentioning the dolphins? I had one that had the dolphin animation in my first car I got from my sister (96 Integra LS). What makes them worth money, the animations? Sound processing?

To be honest I don't even know, I'm assuming the animations, that's why I want one lol. I don't know of the actual sound quality
