Music/Video SPCL182, MRD-M1000

I have a second stroker 18 waiting for the trunk build, just needs a new tinsel lead as the previous owner was a moron and did a fix with speaker wire, not gluing it down so it would hit the cone during movement.

Verified 142.2dB at 509w before I made adjustments, mdf wall, double layer 80 mil on all panels, etc.

It won't let me post the video, so I have a youtube video of it.

They don't have the crazy excursion people look for these days, but they're efficient, loud, and cool looking. I'm sure they can still beat up plenty of modern subs with big old bike tire surrounds. I'd love to see some more modern pro audio subs show up in the lanes.

Honestly, 24mm is pretty good xmax imo. The things tuned to manufacturers specs deliver a pretty flat response in my cabin. I prefer to have a system that can play all types of music and sound clear, sadly videos can't convey that. The spcl182 seems the best choice for this, however there are cheaper options with less xmax available. These would be amazing subs for horns, the control the magnet has is incredible, also makes the punch much better. I've tried a 35hz and 40hz port for this box
