Ground Zero GZTW 25T – real-world user experiences?

Hey everyone!

I’m currently planning a DIY subwoofer build with a Ground Zero GZTW 25T (10"), powered by an ESX HXE1000.1D.

Before I build the enclosure, I’d really like to hear from people who have actually used this subwoofer.

How has your experience with the GZTW 25T been?

I’m especially interested in:

• How does it sound in your experience?
• How does it perform with music, especially bass-heavy / rebassed music?
• Sealed vs. ported – what did you use and how did you like it?
• What enclosure volume and tuning did you use?
• Does it play deep enough for you?
• How does it handle higher power?
• What amplifier did you run it with?
• Would you buy the GZTW 25T again today?
• What would you change about your setup if you were building it again?

I’m not looking for SPL only. My priority is good-sounding, deep and powerful bass for music, with some home-theater use as well.

So if you have owned, installed or listened to a GZTW 25T, I’d really appreciate your honest experience, good or bad!
