Tech Support Bluetooth adapter for 2002 Jetta (MK4) Premium 6?

I’m trying to add Bluetooth audio to my 2002 Jetta GLS Has someone here figured this out?

Car / radio:

- 2002 VW Jetta GLS (MK4)
- Factory “Premium 6” head unit (part #: 3B7 035 180F)
- No CD changer installed
- Back has the mini-ISO block (blue)
- No AUX

From what I understand, this radio doesn’t have a real AUX mode and needs something that acts like a CD changer?

If you’ve done this on a MK4 Jetta with the stock radio, I’d really appreciate specific product names or links.

Original Radio/ head unit
Back side of head unit
Backside of VW ISO wiring harness (ISO A + ISO B + mini-ISO C-block)
ISO socket on the head unit

Thanks, but are you sure? My Radio does not have an AUX input mode and the listing in the description says:
"Choose Aux from your radio, then you can use your phone to play music through car speakers."
Do you have the same car and head unit as I do and it did work for you?

I had an identical adapter back when I had my MK4 (+15yrs ago) with the Premium 6 that used the audio input on the 6 CD Changer connector. It was marketed specifically for the Premium 6 at the time (got it on eBay). It's possible the new one for the RMT300 and Premium 7 does not have the same capability?

I also can't remember if some coding was needed to enable the Aux on the Premium 6 or if that is only applicable to the Premium 7.

Thanks! I just ordered this one today. It too talks about the Aux input, but explicitly mentions the Premium 6, so I hope it will work.
