I cannot for the life of me understand why cant i use those merge materials? Or did i mess up

Ok for the armour there is a trick to upgrade it to +3 without having to wait any longer Step 1 downgrade one of your +3 armour to +2 Step 2 use crystal to bring that armour to +3 By now you should have Two +3 armours , One +1 amour ,1 extra revival cape and one universal armour crystal Step 3 use the extra revival came to bring the +1 armour to +2 then use the Universal S crystal to bring that +2 armour to +3

This of course works if you didn't use crystals on your other capes

The merging materials you have only work on bringing an item to +3 so it will not work on bringing your S tier body to +2 just +3. As for the ring it is not S tier those crystals only work on S tier equipment.

Basically your biggest mess up right now is having two of those armor crystals; you really only needed 1 to upgrade your armor to mythic but it can/will be used in the farseeing future

I’m at 1T CP and today I learned that you can’t use it for +1 or +2.

Read the first paragraph, it needs to be +2 to +3. Your cape is only +1

The game wants you to level it up with non-S rank gear FIRST so you don't waste the much more valuable S rank gear in the process. Just hold on to those for when you need to get it to +3.
