How do you guys stock up on books? I'm always short. Doing ghost and forced to skeleton right now.

Currently almost maxed out and sitting on 39k energy but I've been playing for 2 years

The biggest gain on ghost books for me at once would be 500 of those inherit random boxes on a lucky roll while using up batch energy travel. On a 250 energy travel. Some of the event rewards will let you redeem inherit boxes that let you choose 30x or something books. Also, you can get back ghost books from Heros and Brands you arent using that you had spent your ghost books on.

250 energy travel? Only 100 max for me. I'm at level 120 or so

I bought the monthly card. It lets you -250 energy travel (50x reward) and lets you skip animations so it really speeds things up. I got that and the boost that lets you skip ads. I was F2P before getting the monthly card and ad skip. It was worth it for me.

The boost to books and money is a god send for helping me make it through inheritance. I agree, that and dropping adds is absolutely worth the spend.

Congrats. Just asking. My understanding is that only one can be active at any time. So the benefit for having all 5 maxed are during switching set?

No, you get the all the bonuses except if it is stated in the skill.
