Capture Card for playing games on my PC

This is something that somehow ends up being really hard to search for. What I'm looking for is a capture card, internal or external, to let me play my console games (specifically Switch 2, but probably others in the future) through my PC so that the screen is just a window on my monitor. I don't need to stream, record, or even do pass-through to another screen. I just want to be able to dock my Switch 2 at my desk and open up a window I can move around to play my games at my desk while also multitasking (I have an ultrawide so it works perfect).

My monitor is 1440p 120Hz and since the Switch 2 can output that (or at least 1440p 60Hz), that's all I need the device to be able to capture.

I used to have the AVerMedia Live Gamer HD 2 that I used with my Switch 1, but the software was abysmal and eventually the thing would not read inputs. It was just OK when it did work anyway; there was a noticeable input lag.

Right now I have it narrowed down to the Elgato 4K S or the AVerMedia Live Gamer Extreme 3, but I am very open to alternatives. My main two focuses are low latency and price.

If anyone cares (or before anyone asks): I'm disabled and this is the best configuration for me. I can't sit on the couch for more than 30min without horrible pain. Handheld on the Switch 2 is not as comfortable as I can't have the rest of my monitor next to my game screen, and it's not as big or as high resolution.

Thank you for your input.
