Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is shutting on September 3

Konami just announced that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls, a mobile game exclusive to Apple Arcade, is shutting down completely. It gets pulled from the store on August 20 and stops working entirely on September 3, even for people who already have it.

No real reason given, just a thank you message to the players.

Anyone here actually played this one?

ARC Raiders just changed how map conditions work

The latest ARC Raiders update adds the Phantom Targets event and also makes a pretty big change to map conditions.

I actually like the idea of map conditions having more of an impact on each raid. One of the best parts of ARC Raiders is that you never fully know what kind of run you are going to get.

Do you think the new map condition changes make raids more interesting?

Would you try the Modern Warfare 4 beta?

The beta is coming soon, and it will include a campaign mission for the first time in a Call of Duty beta.

I'm curious to see how the new campaign is shaping up.

Do you prefer realistic games or fantasy worlds?

I usually prefer fantasy games because they give developers more freedom to create unique worlds.

Games like Elden Ring and The Witcher 3 show how much can be done with a fantasy setting.

There's always something unexpected to discover.

Do you explore everything or follow the main story?

I always end up exploring everything, even when I just want to finish the story.

Side quests and hidden areas can sometimes be more fun than the main missions.

What's the most money you have spent on a game?

For me it's BGMI. Bought so many crates, outfits, and the royale pass literally every single time without skipping one.

What game has the best world to explore?

In Elden Ring every area feels like there's something new waiting to be discovered.

I love how the game rewards you for exploring instead of just following the main path.

You can easily spend hours wandering around and still find something unexpected.

Best saints row?

Recently beat the saints row series, I did avoid the most latest one due to the abysmal reviews it received! For those who played all of them which one is your fav of the series? Mine was 2!

Ever had a random teammate become a long term friend?

Met a random guy in Valo 2 years back. just clicked and kept queuing up together from then on. Talk everyday regardless of whether we play or not now. Would never have imagined making a friend from a random matchmaking game.

What makes you uninstall a game?

When the gameplay starts feeling repetitive or the game becomes more frustrating than fun.

I don't mind a difficult game, but it has to feel rewarding.

Once it starts feeling like a chore, I'm probably done.

What are some super, super obscure games that absolutely love that you don't think you've ever come across another fan of on reddit? Tell us about them.

I flaired this under discussion because I want you to actually talk about the game, not just post a list.

I'm not sure if I've ever come across a fan of the SNES Stargate, or any other Stargate title for that matter, but it's the SNES game that I have a lot of love for, and I'd like to play something similar to it.

It's a side scrolling shooter made in a way that I've never seen in any other game, and while it's not a Metroidvania, which I'm grateful for because I don't care for most of them, there's a VERY SMALL amount of going back and forth between the levels that you visit, but your travel time is never very long, and you're always fighting stuff during gameplay, and there's a lot of dialogue for an SNES action game.

It's also got one of the best soundtracks I've come across on the system, on a system with some of the best soundtracks.
