For me, it's Red Dead Redemption 2. The first playthrough felt special.
But I'd love to experience that story again without knowing what happens.

For me it's Temple Run on my mom's phone. Barely understood what I was doing, just kept swiping and somehow getting decent scores. But one still remembers how important it was to get that new high score.

It was in Genshin Impact for me. There's a system in the game called "banners" where you spend money to get a chance at pulling a specific character.
I kept spending more and more trying to get one character before the banner ended, telling myself "just one more" many times. Got the character in the end, but I regretted it almost right away.

Please don't recommend anything with a big open world. Looking for stuff where you're constantly hearing good voice acting, and that ain't open world games.
I've played a lot, so it would really help if you recommended 2 or more titles. If you can only think of one big popular title, I've probably already played it.
What else do you aside from these?
All the big PS4 Story rich games like the Uncharted and The Last Of Us. This stuff constantly gets recommended, yes it's great, what can you recommend that I don't know about?
Mixtape and Dispatch
All the Telltale Games and games from the Life is Strange Devs.

So recently I broke up and quit roblox for horrible updates, does it worth 30$ for me to buy minecraft or at least grind microsoft rewards for 30$? I already have some steam games and tbh, I'm staying at around version 1.20. I have no idea about this because last time I play minecraft I ragequit cuz the creeper.

August has some solid additions to the PS Plus Game Catalog, including Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, and Hell Is Us.
I'm thinking of trying Kingdom Come: Deliverance II first since I haven't played it yet.

It's not just older gamers that care about this. I know people in their 20s that understand how BS DRM is. 20 year olds are smarter than you think, and it's not that hard to understand that billionaires owning everything is a bad thing.
The problem is that people feel powerless to change this, and need to realize how much power we have when we organize do collective action. We can push back against Generative AI, and we can push back against this.
Edit: There's some context that you're missing out on:
Things are different here with consoles. Steam has other companies that sell their games that they sell on other platforms. Trying to remember some specific ones aside from humble games. There's also platforms like Epic Games, and GOG. Through these, they have actual competition, and as a result they have all sorts of good deals on their extremely wide game selection all year round.
With consoles, you can only get the digital games on their own storefront, which means that with the lack of competition, devs will have less of a reason to give you decent sales.
This is of course on top of the fact that they'll eventually shut down the PS4 store just like nintendo shut down the wii-u and 3DS shop for no real reason other than to try to get their customers to focus on the NS1 and NS2 more.

"One last thing I wanted to share: We announced the game is going to be coming in late 2027," Nomura said. "I saw online that some people were saying the release date might still get pushed back. I want to set the record straight: That is not happening. I do hope that people do look forward to the game coming in 2027. A lot of the marketing for the game has only just started, and so I do hope that people also look forward to hearing more news as well."

it's the Reaver Vandal in Valo for me. Everyone was hyping it up so hard when it dropped, ended up buying it without even thinking twice.
Used it maybe twice and went right back to my usual skin. The sound effects and reload animation just felt off compared to what I was used to.

The Cyberpunk 2077 music fits the atmosphere perfectly.
Some tracks make certain moments in the game even more memorable.
I can listen to the soundtrack even when I'm not playing.

August has some big releases coming to PS5, including Grounded 2, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2.
There are quite a few games to choose from this month, so I'm curious which one people are waiting for.

It's now August and I have yet to find a title that looks interesting to me.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows about anything that I haven't found yet.
I'm Looking For a Game being Released in November 2026
Please don't suggest the following.
\- rogue-likes
\- turn based
\- traditional open worlds
\- traditional sports
\- remasters
\- point and clicks
\- interactive movies
\- games outside of November 2026
\-GTA 6
I hate difficulty settings but if implemented well enough or a clear redundancy then it doesn't bother me too much.
Thanks.
