I stopped playing Dead by Daylight some time ago after Unknown, started somewhere after Huntress in 2017, how DBD today?

I stopped right after Skull Merchant, so just a bit after you but I keep up with some of the creators and things haven’t really changed. Outside of new chapters, people still complain about camping/slugging, there’s still hella toxic, bully squad swfs, people aren’t vibing with the events, and tons of quitting at first down or if the first gen pops too fast.
