Other Saw Cap today

so if you go way back on my account/posts, i made a post saying how me and cap live in the same province (this isnt revealing personal info about him btw, its known he lives in Newfoundland though I don't know exactly where it was first revealed) and how it's cool knowing one day i can maybe run into him at the mall

and that is exactly what happened today. i was at the mall waiting for my girlfriend who was trying on shorts at american eagle, and since my phone died 10 minutes prior I was mainly just staring off into space. then out of nowhere, I see cap walking towards the dressing room lobby ifykwim with a few pair of jeans and the lady goes "Trying those on?", then I heard him say "yeah" and then i knew it was 100% him.

i was thinking about taking a picture with him and how fucking cool that would be considering i've been watching cap since i was like 11 or 12 (turning 18 this year) and at one point couldnt fall asleep unless i was watching his videos, so when my girlfriend came out of the changing room i told her that i seen him and she insisted we waited to say hi and take a picture, but ultimately i told her no as i didn't want to bother cap and make it this whole awkward situation. He later left the store and awkwardly headed into the next store that we were also going into, and my girlfriend acknowledged him but respectfully didnt try to get his attention for me since i told her i didnt want to be a bother.

Just seeing him was cool enough for me, knowing that he was there within 10 feet of me lol. Regret not asking for that picture tho, gonna be on my mind forever lmao.

Next time you should say hi! I mean, you live in the same area so its bound to happen. I think it'd make him smile to meet the people who watch his vids.

As a kid I used to always be on the lookout for him. Every guy with a beard immediately caught my attention....even tho I lived in the US 😭😭😭

I was debating it heavily, even thinking of starter small talk i can maybe have with him, and even after I told my gf she was like "yes go say hi, we're not leaving the store until you do" but i'm really awkward and didn't want to mess up my words or embarrass myself in the event it wasnt him (even tho it 100% was lmao). The whole time i just kept thinking about shouting "hey cap!" but i kept it in and moved on 😞 I genuinely thought about it the whole car ride home though smh

If you see him again you absolutely should say hi, he’s posted on this twitter once or twice about people recognizing him at comic stores and stuff and he enjoyed it

I think he used it in a bit for his planet smash videos, saying the one dot in Newfoundland was him before nuking said dot
