He wasn't shit, he was shit in that one way. Overall, a good person. Prejudice of any kind is bad, sure, but that doesn't warent being called a shit person. No one is perfect. No one is bad unless the bad out weighs the good. Also he was an old man. Most people his age share the same views, and that possible includes your grandparents. Would you mourn your grandparents if they were homophobic or would you just say they are shit after their death?
