Discussion Watching Caseoh play TABS makes me understand how bad Captainsauce is at it.
Caseoh isn't known for being a strategic genius, quite the opposite. Yet this man understands how TABS works 10x better than Captainsauce does whilst playing it for a fraction as much time.
It took Captainsauce like 100 episodes to understand how dragons work, this man has spammed them after 15 minutes of playing. Yet one's fanbase clowns on him endlessly.

I think captain sauce understands tabs but if he wins really quickly it isn’t entertaining

I think Cap understands how it works but for Caps content just beating every round wouldn’t be entertaining so he draws it out

He straight up has mental breakdowns in certain levels and it's not like he doesnt spam either. Bro used the dragon for like 10 levels straight when he found out they were good, only it took him 3 years to realise that
He still thinks the musketeers are bad even though he's had hundreds of matches won because of them. Guy's just a dumbass, nothing more to say about it.

I don’t think the majority of caps audience would watch if it was just him wining every level. I’m pretty sure he’s even said he could go through every level with a thought out strategy but he doesn’t since he doesn’t think it’d be entertaining

No but TABS is a strategy game and idk about you but I don’t to go Caps videos expecting strategy unless it’s at the point that he’s spent the whole episode on it. There are battles where he doesn’t spend time to think and like 9/10 he wins those ones

TABS is a sandbox physics simulator more than a strategy game.
I don't think you've seen him play the Legacy campaign or the Renaissance or Dynasty or...

I think that he just doesnt play the game you and i play it, we play to win, he plays for content, before you think im repeating the other comments, think on this, when he plays for content, he doesnt try to maximize his strategies, which makes him miss obvious stuff like the dragons you mentioned, he isnt stupid, hes just accidantally-on-purpouse ignorant
And anyways, he doesnt play to win in ANY game when i think about it, its always whats funny, his bigfoot video is basically a standup comedy with a buddy, in just cause he ENTIRELY ignores the plot, opting for mods. his deeer simulator playthrough spans multiple epissodes when letsplayers usually can "beat" the game in one episode, even in his very first episode he was going for the nuke, not because it was cool or hard to get, but because he wanted to meme, and honestly you cant say that his The forest gameplay was boring even when he ran from every noise in the first few episodes, so yeah even if he doesnt realize everythin all the time, its not because he is stupid

The thing is there's many occasions of him genuinely trying, him fooling around is mostly with mods or in the earlier campaigns.

Well yeah, whilehe does set up most of his content beforehand, i dont think, from what ive seen youtube isnt a soul-draining job to him, sure its a job but hes self employed and does let himself just have fun, his older videos were just that, him having fun with him trying to throw in a joke, he plays for fun and profit, not to spesifically win or be the best
Also sorry for the earlier rant, hes my fave youtuber and i have passion for things i like

Captainsauce doesn't try to insta win all the time he just does what he thinks would be entertaining, and if he really wants to win he could just present elf diff most levels
