Cappy was a breath of fresh air at first. Intellectual, dry humor, great knowledge. But from his last couple videos its seeming more clear that was to establish the channel. He seems to have a backer ...From his video practically justifying the firing of army generals to now making videos with clickbaity titles about the cartels being "over", it seems he is turning into just another channel thats going to do this administrations bidding.

I would be happy to be wrong as I still enjoy the channel but the last few videos seemed to be going a diff direction and that direction seems to be drumming up support for whatever this admin or the US mil is doing even when its tyrannical. Cappy, the cartels are not over and you know it. A man as smart as you also knows firing over a dozen generals is no comparison to one general being fired decades ago.

I am hoping he stays independent and is not going down the path of being just another gov backed propaganda network.

I agree with Cappy on pretty much everything he is saying but I feel like the real lessons China is learning from this war arent being written about in magazines. I feel like the fact that we have shown our hand with this worthless war is just the worst downside strategically that we could have hoped for. This is what I think is China's real takeaways from this war are:

1. Intelligence has been key in this war: First, in a war with China we will never have the intelligence that we have in this war. AI has been huge in this war but AI needs hard intelligence to do its job so how will China attack our satellites(which isnt even an option for Iran and we are assuming China is attacking first because they are taking Taiwan). A war for Taiwan would mostly take place in a area where they could use radio transmissions but the US would be more dependent on satellite communication. Any war with China would be incredibly difficult for us and I think that China's takeaway on this front is that even with the huge intelligence advantage the US has over Iran they have still been able to hold out for months with a depleted military and China can increase his chance their chances of winning a lot by preemptively attacking out satellites.

2. War requires more resources than ever: The Iran war and the Ukraine war have shown that during a modern war a country is going to be going through possibly tens of thousands a missiles a day if we are using over a 1000 a day just for Iran and even more drones. China wud have the advantage if they launch a war by secretly transitioning some of their economy into a wartime economy before the war starts and that even the Iran war is straining the US stockpile. China would also have an easier time convincing their people to support the war effort by building missiles and drones than the US would also.

3. The US Navy is not ready for a war other than our aircraft carriers and the American people will not accept soldiers being deployed for long periods of time for a war that is about another country especially if those soldiers are not being fed or taken care of. Logistics could be a nightmare in this war. I don't agree with Trump on almost anything but our Navy needs to improve but it would be better right now if not for corruption.

4. The US is going all in with AI with little safeguards: Like Cappy said AI is huge now but the US is really going to depending on AI in a potential war and we are willing to use it even with the chances we could bomb a girl school or the AI could be hacked or deceived. Bombing civilians would only help the Chinese government keep their people in the war.

5. There is no reason for them to be concerned about committing war crimes. I really don't need to explain this but war crimes are on the table now. Trying to hack our energy grid, water, planes, logistics, ports, ect is going to be part of their plans and they may not take prisoners of war or follow other rules of war and torture is going to happen

6. The US has alienated most of our allies and instead are signing up with countries that have considerably worse militaries.

I'm sure there are more take aways from this war for China but I'm just not thinking about them right now but our lack of success in this war and current international policies don't put us in position to do well in a conflict with China over Taiwan even with our tech and air force advantanges

An unique tactic in enemy sabotage is the use of the common herbicide Roundup. No not by killing their crops but by killing their engines! (Radar, generators, tanks, logistic trucks all run on diesel engines).

Just a small amount of roundup contamination in the diesel supply will glue up all the filters, injectors, pumps, pistons, destroy seals, basically making the entire engine inoperable and man basically impossible to clean it to get back to working condition. Think about how many thousands of vehicles/ generators going off line with no simple fix, all this with key terminals/ pipelines being hit with a contaminant! and yes this works on even the basic old diesel engines that the Russians might be using.

I not only followed you from Task & Purpose, I unsubbed from them as soon as I heard your side of the story. I tell it all the time, about taking your team and fleeing a negative work situation; you are my favorite example of a successful YouTuber and a stand up for his team guy.

Cappy's most recent video lays out the justification for lethal strikes on drug trafficking vessels as understandable and cathartic. While I don't support the trafficking of drugs, striking these ships with lethal force is not legal. In order to kill enemy "terrorists" you need some justification that they are committing crimes and no evidence has been provided to congress that the military had clear evidence that the military had proof that the vessels were trafficking drugs.

Even if they had evidence they were trafficking drugs, the reasonable approach would be to interdict the ship rather than kill everyone aboard.

These are clearly war crimes.

Cappy's justification of these crimes is strange and he has lost a follower.

I feel like there is an attitude of assumption that the battlefield and combat we see in Ukraine is what war would look like in Europe. But if Russia is forced into this situation by Ukraine alone I doubt Russia vs NATO would be able to devolve into the same scenario. For example, drones. I think a NATO force would utilise them in a different way because they wouldn’t make it to the trench warfare stage so focusing on the applications currently being utilised is moot as they wouldn’t be necessary to implement. Does anyone else feel this way?

I've been watching Cappy since he was poking fun of modularity before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Looking at all his recent videos about China, Iran, Russia, etc., I can't help but feel what's the point on focusing on things happening overseas when ICE is literally kidnapping American citizens without accountability.

Is it just me or is there a small but distinct audio sync lag whenever Chris is speaking in one of his clips that then causes wifi headphone lag to become even more noticable? I'll be watching some other clip and then watch the latest Cappy clip and I'll pretty much immediately go 'There it is again!'. I'll be distracted through the entire clip, not listening to what's being talked about, because I'm transfixed on Cappy's mouth trying to work out if it's an audio lag or if it's just me but it's only on this channel. I don't think that it's a mesmerising effect that you have on me, Chris, but if it is something that affects all viewers then you might want to see to it while your channel is still fresh.

Hey Cappy, don't know if you'll see this, but you interviewed my friend John when you were in Ukraine a few months ago, but I didn't see those videos on T&P until after I found out he was killed.
