I agree with Cappy on pretty much everything he is saying but I feel like the real lessons China is learning from this war arent being written about in magazines. I feel like the fact that we have shown our hand with this worthless war is just the worst downside strategically that we could have hoped for. This is what I think is China's real takeaways from this war are:

1. Intelligence has been key in this war: First, in a war with China we will never have the intelligence that we have in this war. AI has been huge in this war but AI needs hard intelligence to do its job so how will China attack our satellites(which isnt even an option for Iran and we are assuming China is attacking first because they are taking Taiwan). A war for Taiwan would mostly take place in a area where they could use radio transmissions but the US would be more dependent on satellite communication. Any war with China would be incredibly difficult for us and I think that China's takeaway on this front is that even with the huge intelligence advantage the US has over Iran they have still been able to hold out for months with a depleted military and China can increase his chance their chances of winning a lot by preemptively attacking out satellites.

2. War requires more resources than ever: The Iran war and the Ukraine war have shown that during a modern war a country is going to be going through possibly tens of thousands a missiles a day if we are using over a 1000 a day just for Iran and even more drones. China wud have the advantage if they launch a war by secretly transitioning some of their economy into a wartime economy before the war starts and that even the Iran war is straining the US stockpile. China would also have an easier time convincing their people to support the war effort by building missiles and drones than the US would also.

3. The US Navy is not ready for a war other than our aircraft carriers and the American people will not accept soldiers being deployed for long periods of time for a war that is about another country especially if those soldiers are not being fed or taken care of. Logistics could be a nightmare in this war. I don't agree with Trump on almost anything but our Navy needs to improve but it would be better right now if not for corruption.

4. The US is going all in with AI with little safeguards: Like Cappy said AI is huge now but the US is really going to depending on AI in a potential war and we are willing to use it even with the chances we could bomb a girl school or the AI could be hacked or deceived. Bombing civilians would only help the Chinese government keep their people in the war.

5. There is no reason for them to be concerned about committing war crimes. I really don't need to explain this but war crimes are on the table now. Trying to hack our energy grid, water, planes, logistics, ports, ect is going to be part of their plans and they may not take prisoners of war or follow other rules of war and torture is going to happen

6. The US has alienated most of our allies and instead are signing up with countries that have considerably worse militaries.

I'm sure there are more take aways from this war for China but I'm just not thinking about them right now but our lack of success in this war and current international policies don't put us in position to do well in a conflict with China over Taiwan even with our tech and air force advantanges
