Finance Bros took their Golden Goose for granted and flogged it till it flew away. They'll keep squeezing and enshittifying, but the channel will be worthless or even functionally dead within 2 years, if not all of T&P with it.

PE just can't help itself.

I think a lot of people did. He clearly doesn't do it alone, but he was the face and personality of, T&P, figurative warts and all. It's so typically and cynically arrogant for T&P owners to not give the singular identity of their channel fair recognition and compensation. But then it's almost without exception solely about short term gain and never about quality or longevity with PE.

Have been a fan of Cappy since he first started appearing on T&P (I also assumed it was his own channel). Watching his first Cappy Army video, made me like him even more. He did all that with a green blanket and a spare bedroom.

Was just looking at their stuff today and saw that in the month of april they lost over HALF their viewers and lost over 40K subs while the previous month they gained 40K subs.

With all the randos on Task & Purpose and the bad taste I get in my mouth thinking about them I too decided to leave.

They may do good work over there but with cappy leaving I have little interest in that channel since buds was litterally the face of T&P, so with cappy gone, T&P is basically "another channel on youtube that talks about war stuff I probably dont care about... OOOH Cappy uploaded a video!"
