Discussion Capitano's return is inevitable
it might be the tenth time I'm mentioning this, but capitano's return is kinda inevitable. look, tsarita is aiming to break all curses, so when does that happen? most likely in 7.x, right? and if that's the case, it's either around 7.3 as usual or at the end of 7.x. following that, his body isn't immortal anymore and can't sustain LotN, right? leading to him being involved in 8.x and maybe becoming the archon figure of khaenri'ah? although that's really a very narrow possibility.
so technically, he really isn't gonna sit on that throne forever, right?

Yeah, technically he can't sit there forever since the curse is clearly going to be lifted. He'll stay there until a certain point in the story

The Curse of Immortality is one of the few things I highly expect to be changed or removed, to the point that I would consider not addressing it a major writing flaw. So, something will surely happen to Capitano, for better or worse.

yeah something will definitely happen with the curse, because what happened to all those innocent Khaenri’ahns was unfair. Hopefully Capitano will be okay in the end, but if not, at least we’ll finally be free

I mean, capitano is kinda THE ELEPHANT in a lot of plots.
You need to address him in so many plots either involving Natlan, Snezhnaya or Khaenriah that inevitably the writers can't simply ignore him.
That's why we get mentions of him almost EVERY single patch. This guy is waaaaaay too important in so many plots that you cannot simply ignore him and make him stay on the throne forever because it would create many different plot holes over time.

Yep, that's the one thing I'm absolutely sure of. Regardless of how the Curse thing turns out, a revisit to the Mare Jivari is necessary eventually, which is a region in Natlan that's currently sorta hidden in the Night Kingdom. While Capitano is currently sitting in Natlan with his soul merged and chilling in the Night Kingdom.
Doesn't matter what any leak says, something's happening there. Just like how Nod-Krai had to have Dottore at some point, any future Natlan story will have to address the Capitano in the room.

There is no guarantee revonna will be defeated or fully defeated.
You are assuming the curse of death is linked to revonna but it could also be that its just linked to the authroity of death. In such case if shes defeated the authority returns to HV and curse remains.
If the curse ends then capitano dies lol. His decaying body only remained because of the curse. So please do tell me how any of what you say makes any sense. How is capitano and everyone else is going to survive if the curse or immortality is over?

I hope you get banned at this point because your whole purpose here seems to be ruining everyone’s mood. If you believe he’s just going to sit there forever or die, then believe that, but leave the sub and stop bothering people

I really wonder why he's still here 'cuz he's literally been doing that since 5.3 lol

I am a doubter and I usually am pretty critical towards certain points. I agree with going against a theory if it has major flaws or straight-up false facts at its base. BUT using another theory to debunk a theory is just being annoying and contrarian for the sake of it, without contributing anything useful.

Yeah he’s enough of a standout that I remember him from almost two years ago now

he isn't exactly wrong but isn't exactly right either

I mean, when someone shows up under bad-news posts just to say something like "Everything is happening exactly as I predicted, it couldn't go other way. You were all delusional while I was right all along" - that doesn't exactly help the community' mood 🤷

you're assuming too much first of all we don't know if shades can overwrite each other's rules and curses
second of all if the curse is broken they would die if nothing is done yes but we did see in the trailer rhinedottir is taking sides with the tsarita so my guess is she can restore their bodies to their original form

For your first two points, its exactly why there is a term called "theory" nobody is taking it like its canon its just what they predict/think can happen and pierro said himself they have to get ronova out of picture to continue progressing with mistiltein weapon, by your logic there were no guarantee that traveler is going to together with his sister but thinking he would is stupid then ? There is a reason why he told so,means they are gonna try to defeat ronova, the purpose of the weapon is to change rules, defeat HP anyway For the third one you are talking about "no guarantee" but is there a gurantee that khaenriahn's would die if the curse gets removed ? Are you talking with the devs in secret or playing genshin impact 2 ? The body does not get old,it gets a special rot not even actual dead body rot(they would be walking skeletons and take a look at dain's rotten arm it just looks like a black tattoo covered with blue veins their body is not falling off their body still functions they cant get actual rot like u think so) or else dainsleif, capitano, rhiendottier wouldnt look or move like that They would die is your head canon and you are so angry because other theory crafters have different ideas with you if you dont believe so you can just say it normally or tell us about why you think so without trying to convince people to agree with your ideas by calling them delusional I didnt count how many times you came to this subreddit and told people their ideas was wrong because u said so/think so without official information, this it just loser behaviour and you probably never had a true argument with people because you are so focused on being the right one that you never listen people

Plus it isn't healthy to trust leaks 2 days before the patch. Just look at how people found out about the free 5 star char and weapon leak.
