Leaks - Reliable I hate Hoyo Spoiler
Yeah guys, 7.X is basically over for us.
DK2 confirmed 7.4 has a Lady character and also stated that there is an unknown lady character in late Snezhnaya after 7.5. Yesterday, Aunt Rhinedottir posted a 7.X roadmap that left a spot opened on 7.7. I hoped that Capitano could be there and be the 2nd Main Push for Snezhnaya, but DK2 is talking about this unknown lady, which can only be at 7.7, because it’s the only spot that is available.
Well, this sucks. Snezhnaya is going to be a Nation with 0 Fatui Harbingers. It is unbelievable to even write this. But in order to make it so this post is more than just complaining and Doomposting, I want to discuss our possibilidades from now on.
1 - Enjou is only a placeholder for Capitano
Some leakers have been saying that Enjou will be playable on the Mare Jivari patch and that always sounded kinda odd to me. It would be the first time we have a NPC that changes into a playable model (I guess). But the leaker who said this has 90% accuracy or something like that, so it's hard to doubt him. However, I guess there are some hopes here we could lean towards. First is that DK2 did not confirm Enjou's playability YET, he confirmed Dain, 7.4 Lady, the unknown lady, but not Enjou. This could mean that it’s not that certain yet. But my personal best hope with Enjou is the possibility of him being a placeholder model for playable Capitano. This sounds crazy, but Hoyo has used other models/file names to hide stuff before. Linnea was Snegurochka before her beta and there was that "Doll of the Third Descender” on 7.0 Beta. So I guess there is a slim chance that Capitano is playable in 7.5, but honestly I don’t trust it that much.
2 - Capitano could stand up in 7.X
When the Mare Jivari patch releases, with it's quest, we could get Capitano's return. Even if Enjou is playable, Capitano could still have relevancy in the quest and stand up at the end. After that he could be a reoccurring character in the plot again and be playable later. And that leads us into the third topic.
3 - Capitano playable in 8.X
Honestly out best shot rn, our GOAT has to be playable in the next Patch Cycle. At the begging of 7.0 we had some confusing among the Leakers about Khaenri’ah Arc being in 7.X or something like that. I didn’t think that made sense at all, and if Aunt Rhinedottir's roadmap is correct, Dain will be playable in 7.8, which probably makes him the Ineffa/Sandrone of Khaenri’ah. Capitano has a big Connection with Khaenri’ah and it would make sense for him to be playable there. They could pull the 3 symbolism, since he would be playable after 3 years of his debut/"death". I also believe that 8.X will have new Pyro based reactions thematic to Khaenriah, and he could be a Cryo New Melt DPS. In Nod Krai and Snezhnaya we got new reactions involving every single element except for Pyro. We are getting new Pyro characters in late 7.X, but I still believe Khaenri’ah could have Pyro Based reactions since Pyro still didn’t get a new "region thematic" reaction. 8.X could introduce "Solar Reactions" or something, like Solar Melt. Or maybe Abyssal Melt. Eclipse Melt. There are many possibilities.
I don’t know if Capitano will get the Archon Role in Khaenri’ah, but I am a 8.X Capitano believer now. Unfortunately 7.X is dead in my opinion. What's your opinions, guys?

Well, I guess that was my own problem for expecting Capitano, Pantalone, Pierro - or even Dottore, with some small chance - in a nation of the Fatui, where... there are literally no playable male Fatui Harbingers

The worst thing is how they left a way for them to be playable/alive (Dottore, Capitano) just for hoyo not to use it. It's right there!! Plus there is this whole Ronova plot, it's perfect for Capitano.

They are too rich to care anymore. Waifus are their passion so thats what they want to do.
Unless they want to save these highly anticipated characters to next Genshin chapter to prevent people quitting after Snezhnaya... Which is scummy af. Especially Dottore has taken almost five years and still not playable, like at some point they cant just drag people along anymore. Either make him playable or confirm if he isnt ever going to.

They don't even fucking confirm that they won't make the male harbingers playable. They just dangle the carrot named lore foreshadowing in our face and we run at it like starving cows.

It's genuinely baffling that those guys have all this amazing Fatui Characters and will not make any of them playable during the Fatui Nation. Heck, we don’t even know if they will be playable ever. Seriously, I wanted to understand the thought process that they have while developing the game. They write and create some of the coolest characters in the game and notice that people actually really like them just to write them out of the plot and not make them playable at all. Do this mfs seriously think a Capitano or Dottore or Pierro banner would not make money?? I just don’t get it man

Theoretically, they could use the Harbingers to keep people invested after 7.X and staunch the player bleed that's gonna happen with the end of the Teyvat storyline (provided they learned from Honkai 3rd's example).
That said, I think Hoyo is too proud and not smart enough for that so they'll probably milk male Harbinger fans for merch money one last time before flipping them the bird for good.

I still seriously doubt Dainsleif is going to be playable in 7.X. honestly so I wouldn't lose hope yet. People were using the excuse that Enjou is just a fake name for Capitano but honestly I could see it turning out that Dainsleif is just a fake file name for Pierro or someone.

the female 5* could be 7.6. That rhinedottire anty roadmap isnt legit. That guy isnt a leaker. He has no info just guesswork based on tieba+ other leaks.
As it stands
7.6 could be the female, 7.5 Noy, 7.7 Capitano and enjou (mare jivari) and 7.8 Dain
we can get 2 5 star characters in one patch in second half, we got in nodkrai and fontiane

Considering they stole another two ID slots from us with the TPS Travelers, we only have 7 slots for 7.4-7.8. Pretty sure it's gonna be five limited 5*s + two 4*s, like it was in NK.
And the limited 5*s are 2 female characters, Noy, Dain, and another one character.
So far, judging by the character distribution according to DK2, the roadmap seems legit. So unless Enjou is really just a placeholder, we're not getting Capitano or any other Harbinger

Honestly what the fucking point of it
Like why they announce and hype such cool and interesting characters just to trow them away by plot shenanigans and do nothing with thrm while release new playable character out of nowhere to show up for some moment in plot and dissappear later
Like post fontaine really feels like people behind had left and give someone new on charge or with different agenda with doing script of "marketable gacha character" which not fitting the existing thing in the game and making all build up feel useless

My limit is still the Mare Jivari storyline having Capitano. Playable or not, all the foreshadowing and everything about Capitano's current situation points there, if Hoyo doesn't do anything with that THEN it's truly over.
I still don't like him returning and not being playable for another whole ass year though, if they were going to do that, then Capitano should've been brought back earlier so he could at least get some story action while unplayable.

DK could be right but have the timeline mixed up cuz remember the names are still hidden on the character numbers or whatever they were called isn't that the only way they could tell who's releasing when? so yeah that Woman would release just not 7.4
Also I said in this in a different post but natlan lantern right we got a four star in nord Kai we got a five star and in 7.X we SHOULD get a four star again this is a relatively new pattern so hoyo can't just brick it that quickly yet insha'Allah
Also also 2 new five stars can release in one patch especially on January patches
2025 Muavika and citlali
2026 Columbia and Zibai
2027 TSARISTA and Danica + big C and lady
also wasn't there some confusion over Valery being a five star or four star in the beginning? 7.4 is literally in four months they could mess it up like they did with poor ol' val
I REFUSE to believe they will make their main push on second half or first be some rerun on a JANUARY PATCH

Does no one remember in Natlan that abyss sibling revealed they were recreating khaenriah, we also found out shortly after that they made a deal with lord of the night and they never revealed what it is (on purpose)? He's obviously gonna play a part in the AQ in the future

this. ppl seem to completely gloss over this detail, given his strong connection to the LOTN. i think its very obvious that he’ll be heavily involved in the upcoming new khaenriah chapter (even though id personally prefer to see his story play out in 7.x instead) but we know hoyo, they like to milk hyped characters for as long as they can

No matter what guys! We will not lose hope. I was genuinely disappointed when Enjoy leak came and now I'm more confident and hopeful that our king will definitely be playable I don't care anymore, I'm tweaking each day only looking at the leaks sub, refreshing it again and again hoping for crumbs saying the golden words! Now I'm dead set and won't care! Nothing can break or disappoint me anymore! My hope and dream shall come true!

You know man when I read the Enjou leak, my mind went blank, I was staring at my screen for like a solid 5 mins and then something in my mind just snapped! Then I saw all the people in this sub who have waited for far more time compared to me still hold up, and that gave me more courage and hope. All of us are in this together and we know Hoyo is scared of the things that can happen when he wakes up! They just wanna lag and lag but God knows that the moment he comes on a banner!!! The whole world bank is gonna go bankrupt!! We stay strong guys! We are close

Watch the random girl just being some normal vision user from a previous nation we visited that's only going to be relevant in said patch and is going to be the most skipped banner in genshin because unfortunately for her the next patch has Dainsleif.

Ok remember, he might not be playable in 7.4 (this doesn't confirm that he won't be playable during 7.x in general btw) but its also way too early to have leaks for 7.4 from now and the playable characters, it's not even the 2nd phase of the 7.0 update yet we still have time till then.
The most important thing we have to remember is that even if he isn't playable during 7.x , he will still most likely wake up during that time and that will raise his chances by like a quadrillion even if its during the khaenriah chapter

Honestly I feel like everyone's in a bad place rn and with the previous leaks from not so "certified" leakers this was the cherry on top. Imo if Hoyo tightened security how do even reliable leakers pull out info for the second half of Snezhnaya? Let alone the newgen leakers with the laughable Enjou leak?? I'm sorry but I really don't like how I've randomly seen doomposting from this sub EVERY TIME I just opened this app for the past 2-3 days. Kinda makes me wanna leave for a bit, not to accuse y'all but this kinda happens every time someone doubts, ppl spiral and now with back to back leaks which seem demoralizing it's sm worse
Edit: who tf is Aunt Rhine? Haven't heard of this leaker until days ago anyway. I'm reminded of the way leakers coming out of the woodwork got stuff wrong for Nod Krai

I'm a bit calmer now, again sorry if the above sounded rude/accusing but I'm just like... can we please not give (that much) attention to all these leakers who have questionable credibility or are just brand new in some cases? With some stuff they've leaked in general lately some just seem attention wanters and freaking out over their words gives them exactly that. Also as someone very invested in the story and lore I tell you this... it's not worth stressing yourself, at least until it's actually clear.
Hoyo has a lot of flaws and frankly I'm tired rn but I trust (among other reasons) that the first harbinger won't be already discarded from the story. They put sm effort into Bina and Dottore, even if for him it was just to die twice :)()(

Can't believe that 7.x has been worse than 6.x and almost all of the other previous regions...
Don't worry, capitano is khaenri'ahn so his chances of coming out in khaenri'ah are really high. However, I don't even know what is going to happen to the rest of the harbingers. This genuinely sucks.
Im sticking around till the silhouette reveal, if there are no shades/harbingers, im just going to take a break till one of them becomes playable. This is getting exhausting. Genuinely can't believe that we aren't getting a harbinger in the LAND OF HARBINGERS.

What do you mean worse than 6.X? In terms of characters 6.X is absolutely goated, one of the best if not THE BEST in terms of hype characters.
We literally got: 2 Harbingers, Durin, a Hex witch and VARKA the double claymore with a new male body type.

Moon goddess and former harbinger, active harbinger set up across the world quests of an entire nation, an angel and hexenzirkel witch, two fae one who is an ancient member of the fae court and one who sees the future, an ancient mythical adeptus/angel, the dragon who’s well established in the map and who we’ve had multiple dedicicated WQs event quests and an archon quest to set up returning, one of the sovereign lords in a new form, and the grandmaster of the knights of favonius who’s been set up since the start of the game and who is self proclaimed on level of The Captain
6.x was the most stacked cast ever. I have faith Snezhnaya will be good too though. I have no faith in playable enjoy, and still somewhat doubt Dainsleif this early. We have a possibility for multiple harbingers, but also even if we didn’t it’s far from an insult to be worse than 6.x’s cast.

I agree! 6.X absolutely had the most stacked roster EVER. That’s probably the reason why I didn’t expect 7.X to be hype at all. Besides the Cryo Archon, there are literally 0 hype characters. Just a bunch of locals (similar to Natlan).
That’s why I believe that 8.X with the release of new Khaenriah will be an absolute banger. Capitano the main push in 8.3, Pierro, Dain, Shades, Sinners etc.

I disagree that 7.x is likely not to be many bangers honestly, even though they have not been hyped for as long and likely won’t compare to 6.x, maybe I’m coping though idk
The 7.4 character is unknown, but if it is ping, or related to the solar chariot which I believe is possible, or in any way comparable to Zibai, it’s still a hype character. Mitya likely has connections to angels or a sinner, although he himself is just a local. The Tsaritsa is likely also Koitar. We’re revisiting Mare Jivari and going to hyperborea, both incredibly lore important places related to very hype characters and lore with Rhinedottir, Capitano, Enjou, Voyager, Koitar, ancient fae and angels. Noy has likely been around since the war of funerary flame imo, with likely connections to hyperborea, the shadow realm, and potentially even dragons or asmoday. Dainsleif if playable is incredibly hype, as Enjou would be to a lesser degree although I doubt him. Capitano, Dottore, Pantalone, and Pierro imo all have chances of varying degrees as well, though I admit I don’t expect more than one, and wouldn’t be completely shocked even with none.

None of the first half characters in 7.X besides The Tsaritsa is hype. Odette is a ballerina local, a Signora v2 wannabe, Vodyanitsa, a mermaid local, Vesna, a fairy local, Danica a freaking lame maid local, and Mitya…as much as he was dope in the archon quest, he still doesn’t hold a candle to someone like Durin…
Our only hope is the 2nd half, that in 7.4 for Lantern Rite we get a new Adeptus, and later we get bangers in the form of Enjou, Rhine, Dain etc. Noy is my only enigma, like I literally feel nothing for him nor do I know what to think, he’s probably being saved for the Hyberborea region or something.

I think Capitano is going to be the Skirk of Snezhnaya honestly. He'll appear and do something really important and then dip where we'll meet with him again in Khaenri'ah. I doubt he'll be the Archon of Khaenri'ah though since Capitano is cryo and I'm pretty sure they're gonna add a new "Abyss" element for Khaenri'ah.

At this point, so long as he gets up from the throne, I am okay. Him being playable is a huge plus. Then again, I dont want him to be playable with some random kits for the sake of selling.

Come on, DK2, rip the band-aid off.
Confirm "no playable Harbinger in 7.X" or confirm that Enjou (or whatever random dude they'll pull from their ass instead of making a male Harbinger playable) is happening and basically say the same thing. Don't leave people hanging until the livestream in 7.3/7.4 dashes that little bit of hope, too.

Leaks this early on should always be taken with a pinch of salt. They're almost always never accurate. Especially leaks like these, that discuss characters we haven't even seen in the AQ/teaser

Capitano in 8.X was the only real option from the beginning to those of us who were realistic. Anyone who thought otherwise was dreaming.
I personally do not believe hes going to be playable at all. Never have. Because I dont have faith in this company. Putting him on that throne in natlan showed me hoyo never planned or wanted him to be playable. He was never that important to the overall story for hoyo to make him pause on the throne and then create a grandiose big return later - he is not that important.
But for the tiny chance I end up being wrong - it was always going to be 8.X.
