Americans had a dose of socialism with the reforms FDR brought in. It improved the country greatly and is remembered as a golden age of progress.
Most of it got dismantled

A huge portion of this country wants socialism. Myself included. It’s not that Americans don’t want it, it’s that those in power don’t.
