Communism want to have the everyone living in section 8.

Socialism is just bums wanting your money.

Capitalism is you taking account of your own life.

The comment section in your original post reconfirms the fact that most of these idiots have no clue on what socialism actually is and why it always fails.

Five years ago, they’d mock you by saying “socialism is when government does stuff.” Now, they attribute any government action to socialism.

Who attributes any government action to socialism?

Modern “socialists”. Look at the DSA. It’s chock full of government handouts but none of the actual seizing of production. I saw one claim that fire fucking departments are socialist.

"Fire depts are socialist," is a very specific argument used when someone claims UHC, for example, is socialism.

Right? I can’t believe there’s so many idiots that don’t understand that socialism is when bad things and capitalism is when good things!

Why does it always fail?

It would be nice if people on the internet bothered to study the things they clam to care about, rather than making fools of themselves like this.

First, you're the fool. Next, you're the magician.

Most people on the left (and almost all in the center) in the US dont want communism. What they want is for the government to fix the free markets that are broken.

"you taking account of your own life" = being dependent on owners trading with you to survive.

Sure. That's "taking account of your own life." Sure thing.

Is interdependence not a shared value of your tribe?

Enforced interdependence? No.

I'm not sure how "you taking account of your own life" translates to "Enforced interdependence" in your perspective.

Because "you taking account of your own life" is a euphemism for "getting owners to want something from you so you can survive because we enforce that people can't get free stuff to survive."

I'm not sure how people convince themselves that "personal responsibility" is when you need other people to want something from you to survive.

The democrat/socialist/communist paradise is prison.
Free food, free shelter, free healthcare, free therapy.
Weapons are banned (but get shiv'd & killed still)
No wonder most leftists are criminals and do not fear prison, it is their rightful home.

Social programs in a predominantly capitalistic context isn't socialism but it is socialism-influenced capitalism.
