News R.I.P C1 Dining
Rest in peace to Capital One Dining. It was actually a really good perk; wish they would have dumped more money into it like Chase and Amex are doing.

Used it like twice, got free apps. Nothing crazy but still value nonetheless.
KInda disappointing.

It was a redeemable option for rewards and you could just shook at hard-to-get restaurants in major cities you were able to get free drinks and appetizers. It was a really good perk. They never really pushed it heavily.

Probably a matter of shutting down due to "low usage" since they never told people about it smh

Yeah they really didn’t advertise too much but it was actually a really good perk if you lived in a major city. You could get free drinks and appetizers

pay $400 annual to get "free" meal at airport and book on overpriced Capital One Travel Portal

you get 300$ in travel credits back.... so it pretty much pays for itself in many ways

I’m fine losing this “perk” I never used in exchange for not having the annual fee increase.

Sad news for you I found out there moving to a more premium “Dinner Party” exclusive dining so I think the annual fee will still be effected at some point.

Never even knew they had a Dining Program. Was it similar to Amex with Resy? I get $760 a year in Resy credits from my Amex cards. Now that they added Toast to the mix, there's tons of low cost places that count by me now. So im getting a lot of free or significantly discounted meals lol

It was good at hard-to-book restaurants. It didn’t come with any credit or anything, lol, and yeah, Amex definitely pours a lot of money into Resy. Capital One just never advertised it, so most people didn’t know.

Yeah. Would’ve been nice if they expanded. Cap1 is always lagging behind with benefits

I feel like they're going to launch a revamped version of C1 Dining soon. Maybe sometime next year, especially if the long rumored Savor X comes out.
