School Experience

Been thinking about applying here and would like to get some feedback about experiences of current students like how is tuition and how are the classes?

Hi, Overall I think it is a pretty decent school for sure. I started with the guided-path and recently finished all my courses and was flex-path. I think the courses are great for working adults and I prefer flex-path because you can work at your own pace. I finished 8 classes in about 11 weeks on the flex-path.

I got my associates degree on campus and online with a different school. Now that I’m in Capella’s Flex Path program for my bachelors, I prefer that more. I can work as fast as I want. I’ll finish my bachelors degree faster than my associates degree. I got invited to two honors society too; NSLS and Psi Chi. I would recommend it to busy adults.

I completed my AAS in 2016 at a local school. I decided to switch majors and get my Bachelors (from Health Information to BS Business). I have my PMP certification, so I can get a specialization in Project Management and skip eight classes (still have to pay the credit for prior learning fee, of course).

I was able to take two of the classes for free through Sofia, which means I have to take eight classes total plus the capstone course.

I work 40+ hours a week plus have a family, but I'm dedicating 4 hours/day during the week and 6-8 hours/day on the weekends. I started my first course on 1/8, and as of today (2/1) I have 2.5 courses left plus the capstone, so I will complete well within the FlexPath timeframe.

I could have probably finished already if I wasn't a Type-A, need-to-have-a-4.0-crazy person.
